KNHS Successfully Hosts Homeroom PTA Meetings, General Assembly, and SOSA 2026

Earlier today, June 20, 2026, Kisante National High School successfully conducted a productive day of collaboration, transparency, and community building, kicking off bright and early at 7:30 AM.

The morning began with the Homeroom PTA Meetings, where parents and teacher advisers gathered in their respective classrooms. These smaller sessions allowed for direct, meaningful dialogue regarding student progress, classroom needs, and localized action plans to ensure our learners' success.

Following the homeroom sessions, the school community gathered for the General PTA Assembly, immediately followed by the State of the School Address (SOSA) delivered by our dedicated School Head, Dr. Tita P. Raya. Dr. Raya highlighted the school’s recent achievements, ongoing development projects, and strategic goals for the upcoming term, reinforcing our shared commitment to academic excellence and student welfare.

We were deeply honored to have the event graced by Dr. Rian S. Linao, the Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of the Makilala East District. Dr. Linao shared inspiring words of support, emphasizing the vital role that strong parent-teacher partnerships play in elevating the quality of education in our district.
Thank you to all the parents, guardians, faculty members, and community leaders who woke up early and invested their time today. Your active participation is the backbone of Kisante National High School. Together, we continue to build a brighter future for our learners.

EARTHQUAKE DRILL READY: KISANTE NHS PARTICIPATES IN 2ND QUARTER NSED!

At exactly 9:00 AM yesterday, June 18, 2026, the bells ran out at Kisante National High School as our students, teachers, and staff participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

With safety as our top priority, the KNHS community successfully executed the standard "DUCK, COVER, and HOLD" protocol before proceeding to our designated evacuation areas in an orderly manner.

Regular drills like this ensure that every member of our school is equipped with the knowledge and instincts to stay safe when natural disasters strike. Earthquakes give no warning, but our preparedness makes all the difference!

Kudos to our School DRRM Coordinator, faculty, and cooperative learners for a smooth and successful drill. Stay safe and stay prepared, Kisanteans!
