Good day, BPA students!

Please be informed that the schedule for the face-to-face classes of your General Education (GE) subjects has been posted.

We encourage everyone to carefully review the schedule and make sure to check the following:

📢 OFFICIAL BPA DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

This announcement is intended only for Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) sections that previously did not have an assigned instructor for their respective subjects.

Students from these sections may now check the posted photos to view their assigned instructors and corresponding class schedules.

Additionally, the official group chat for each respective section is also provided in the corresponding photo. Students are encouraged to join their designated section group chat to stay updated on important announcements, class schedules, and instructions from their instructors.

For sections that are not yet included in the posted schedules or whose instructors have not yet been assigned, please be advised that the finalization of instructor assignments is still in process. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as the department completes the remaining schedules. An updated announcement will be posted as soon as the assignments have been finalized.

Please review the posted information carefully and attend your classes according to your assigned schedule.

To: All Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) Students
Subject: Prescribed Dress Code for Saturday Classes

To all students enrolled in the Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) Program:

In line with the College’s commitment to promoting professionalism, discipline, and respect within the academic community, all BPA students are hereby reminded to observe the prescribed dress code during Saturday classes.

Please be informed that while the official school or departmental uniform is not required on Saturdays, all students are expected to wear smart casual attire that is neat, decent, and appropriate for an academic environment.

👕Prescribed Attire👕

Students are required to wear smart casual clothing, which includes clean, presentable, and modest attire suitable for classroom instruction.

🚫Prohibited Attire🚫

The following are strictly prohibited during Saturday classes:

* Revealing or excessively tight clothing
* Ripped or distressed pants, shorts, or skirts
* Sleeveless shirts, sando, tube tops, or similar garments
* Clothing bearing offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate words, symbols, or images
* Slippers, flip-flops, and other overly casual footwear

Students are expected to wear closed-toe shoes or other decent footwear that complements the required smart casual attire.

Compliance‼️

All students are expected to strictly comply with this dress code. Failure to observe the prescribed attire may result in the student being denied entry to the classroom or prohibited from attending the class until appropriately dressed. Such action is intended to uphold institutional standards and maintain a professional learning environment.

GENERAL ORIENTATION OF FRESHMEN AND TRANSFEREE STUDENTS

Bachelor of Public Administration Program

Academic Year 2026–2027

The Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) Program warmly welcomes all Freshmen and Transferee Students enrolled for the First Semester, Academic Year 2026–2027.

Please be informed that the General Orientation, spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), will be held on:

📅 Date: July 13, 2026 (Monday)
📍 Venue: MIST, Infront of the Agriculture Department

To facilitate an organized and efficient orientation, students are requested to attend according to their designated schedule:

Morning Session

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
👥 Sections: 1A – 1K

Afternoon Session

🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
👥 Sections: 1L – 1V

This orientation will provide essential information regarding the College’s academic policies, student services, institutional regulations, campus facilities, and other important matters that will help students begin their academic journey at the Makilala Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).

Attendance is MANDATORY for all Freshmen and Transferee students enrolled in the Bachelor of Public Administration Program. Students are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their assigned session for registration and attendance.

Please wear appropriate school attire, bring a ballpen and notebook for note-taking, and observe proper decorum throughout the activity.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Bachelor of Public Administration family. Together, let us begin a meaningful, productive, and successful Academic Year 2026–2027.
