CONDUCT OF THE SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL (SGC) ELECTION
School Year 2026–2029
Calangcang Elementary School

The School Governance Council (SGC) election for school year 2026–2029 was successfully conducted on July 28, 2026, at Calangcang Elementary School. The activity aimed to elect qualified and committed representatives who will serve as partners of the school in promoting quality education, participatory governance, transparency, and accountability.

The designated Election Committee headed by our School Principal, Medgen L. Tampos, and with Danelee T. Tayco as member, supervised the conduct of the voting, ensuring that all eligible stakeholders were given the opportunity to cast their votes freely and confidentially.

The successful conduct of the SGC election reflects the commitment of Calangcang Elementary School to uphold participatory school governance and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders in support of the Department of Education's School-Based Management (SBM) initiatives. The activity was conducted in accordance with existing DepEd policies and guidelines on the establishment and strengthening of school governance councils.
