Brigada Eskwela 2026: Day 1
The first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Tugas-Dumga Elementary School was successfully conducted through the collective efforts and unwavering support of our stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners.
The activity commenced with a prayer, followed by warm welcome greetings and words of appreciation from our School Principal I, Mrs. Lilian T. Tumaca, who expressed her gratitude to everyone who answered the call of volunteerism and community involvement. After the brief opening program, participants immediately proceeded to their assigned tasks and activities aimed at preparing the school for the upcoming school year.
Our school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Tugas Barangay Council headed by the ever-supportive Hon. Dionito T. Tabernilla, who led the relocation and improvement of the school's flagpole. We are likewise grateful to the Dumga Barangay Council under the leadership of Hon. Leovigildo I. Villanueva for taking charge of the cleaning and enhancement of the school's compost pit.
Special thanks are also extended to our dedicated SPTA Officers, spearheaded by President Mrs. Liwayway B. Tapleras, and LATUTODA led by Mr. Gerry A. Estrada, whose members successfully completed the installation of the posts for the left-side wing extension of our school stage, an infrastructure project originally initiated by the SPTA Officers for School Year 2025-2026.
We also acknowledge the generosity of the Tugas Sangguniang Kabataan, headed by Hon. Arnel T. Tejada, Jr., for donating cleaning materials to support the maintenance of the Kindergarten to Grade 6 classrooms, office, ICT Room, and HE Building. Our sincere appreciation likewise goes to the members of Dumga 4Ps and Tugas 4Ps for their active participation in the various clean-up and improvement activities around the school.
The school is equally grateful to the outgoing SELG Officers led by Miss Jasmine Tinagan, who diligently managed the attendance and refreshments of all volunteers throughout the activity. We also thank our supportive parents, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff for generously sharing their time, skills, and effort in making the first day of Brigada Eskwela productive and meaningful.
We are also honored by the presence of Ma'am Celia Tiongson from the Department of Agriculture–Makato and Ma'am Princess L. Sucro, 4Ps Municipal Link of Makato, whose support and encouragement strengthened the spirit of collaboration among all participants.
Furthermore, we extend our deepest appreciation to all individuals, organizations, and stakeholders who shared their blessings through donations during the first day of Brigada Eskwela. Your generosity, whether in the form of materials, supplies, services, or financial assistance, greatly contributes to our goal of providing a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for our learners.
Day 1 of Brigada Eskwela 2026 truly showcased the essence of bayanihan, people from different sectors working together toward a common goal. Through unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility, we continue to create a safer, cleaner, and more conducive learning environment for every TDES learner.
Maraming salamat sa lahat ng ating mga volunteers at stakeholders. Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang diwa ng bayanihan para sa ikauunlad ng ating paaralan!
