From Struggles to Success 🐏

Success is often seen as a product of talent and opportunity, but behind every achievement is a story of resilience, determination, and unwavering faith. For Aisha Mesa, the journey to becoming an intern-turned-professional at Conrad Manila Luxury Hotel is a testament to perseverance and self-belief.

From her early academic years, Aisha demonstrated excellence as a consistent awardee and honor student. However, her journey was far from easy, as she faced trials, errors, and harsh judgments. Despite these challenges, she remained focused on her education and committed to growth. Although she found her subjects difficult, Aisha chose to embrace them rather than shy away. Her resilience, ability to bounce back, and habit of asking questions became key to overcoming obstacles and succeeding in demanding classes.

Aisha’s journey was shaped by her family’s sacrifices, with her father transitioning from housekeeping to a multi-skilled technician and her mother working as a housemaid, making financial stability uncertain. As an only child, she carried a strong sense of responsibility and even considered becoming a working student, but support from extended family allowed her to continue her education. Despite these challenges, Aisha remained determined, holding on to her faith and drawing strength from her family.

Transitioning from student life to the professional world brought new challenges for Aisha, requiring adjustment, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills. Like many interns, she initially struggled and experienced self-doubt, but through hands-on experience, continuous learning, and guidance from her industry professor, Ms. Velle, she gradually built confidence and developed essential skills. Her dedication did not go unnoticed as Aisha was eventually absorbed into Conrad Manila Luxury Hotel, marking a significant milestone in her journey and highlighting the value of perseverance, adaptability, and self-belief.

Aisha’s story reminds us to never doubt ourselves, no matter what challenges come our way. While setbacks and uncertainties are part of the journey, they do not define the outcome. What truly matters is the determination to keep going, learn, and grow. Her journey serves as an inspiration to students and aspiring interns, proving that with faith, courage, and perseverance, success is achievable.
