Barangay Tejeros is an urban area in Makati with a dense population. The majority of its residents belong to the lower-middle-income bracket and are engaged in small-scale retail, service-oriented jobs, and informal labor. Housing structures in the area vary, consisting of mid-rise apartments, clustered residential buildings, and some informal settlements. The presence of informal settlements poses fire hazards and limits available space for emergency response.
