Today is a special day for our Topnotcher, Ms. Ellaiza Kaye Pangilinan, as we pay a courtesy visit to the Office of our City Mayor, Hon. Ate Nancy Binay, together with our Dean, Dr. Jayson Bergania. He was joined by UMAK’s VP for Finance, Engr. Luke Ivan Moro and Dr. Tom Quinones, CITE’s Program Director for Teacher Quality and Experiential Learning.

The College of Innovative Teacher Education proudly recognizes and celebrates the inspiring journey of Dr. Mary Rose M. Roque, School Principal II of Nemesio I. Yabut Senior High School under the Department of Education. 🎓✨

A proud alumna of the University of Makati, Dr. Roque earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English in 2004 and completed her Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management in 2012. Driven by her passion for educational leadership and lifelong learning, she later completed her Doctor of Education major in Educational Management.

From serving as a classroom teacher to becoming an exceptional school leader, Dr. Roque’s journey is a true testament to dedication, perseverance, and service. Throughout her career, she has inspired countless learners and educators through her commitment to academic excellence, learner welfare, and transformative leadership. 🍎📚

Innovation came alive, creativity filled every space, and future educators proudly showcased what they have learned and become during the Performance-Based Learning Week 2026 of the College of Innovative Teacher Education.

For four inspiring days, students presented meaningful and integrated outputs from the different courses they have undertaken, demonstrating not only academic excellence, but also collaboration, creativity, leadership, and purpose-driven learning. From instructional innovations and research-based projects to community-centered outputs and transformative teaching demonstrations, every presentation reflected the passion and dedication of future educators committed to making a difference.

More than a showcase of requirements, this event became a celebration of learning in action, a testament that CITE remains true to its Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Isang makabuluhang yugto para sa mga magiging g**o na magsisilbing ilaw at gabay ng susunod na henerasyon. Tampok sa programa ang mga simbolo ng kolehiyo na kumakatawan sa mga pagpapahalaga, kakayahan, at adhikaing huhubog sa kanila sa nalalabing dalawang taon ng kanilang paglalakbay bilang mga g**ong tagapaglingkod ng bayan.

Simbolo ng pagmamahal sa bayan at malasakit sa kapwa. Ipinapaalala nito sa mga g**ong magsasanay na ang edukasyon ay hindi lamang pagtuturo ng kaalaman kundi paghubog din ng makabayan, responsable, at makataong mamamayan.

Kumakatawan sa karunungan, dignidad, at gabay ng institusyon. Sa susunod na dalawang taon, magsisilbi itong paalala sa mga mag-aaral na panatilihin ang integridad, disiplina, at kahusayan bilang paghahanda sa propesyong pagtuturo.

Simbolo ng mahusay na komunikasyon at pagpapahalaga sa wika bilang tulay ng pagkatuto. Ipinapaalala nito na ang isang g**o ay dapat malinaw magsalita, mahusay magpahayag, at marunong makinig sa pangangailangan ng kanyang mga mag-aaral.

Ikalawang Taon – Batsilyer ng Edukasyong Sekundarya medyor sa Araling Panlipunan

Kumakatawan sa kalayaan ng pag-iisip at pagpapahayag. Sa paglalakbay ng mga g**ong magsasanay, mahalagang malinang ang pagiging bukas sa iba’t ibang pananaw at ang kakayahang magsulong ng katotohanan at katarungan.

Sagisag ng karaniwang Pilipino na siyang sentro ng edukasyon. Ipinapaalala nito sa mga magiging g**o na ang kanilang paglilingkod ay para sa kapakanan ng bawat mag-aaral at komunidad na kanilang paglilingkuran.

Simbolo ng kaalaman at walang humpay na pagkatuto. Hinihikayat nito ang mga g**ong magsasanay na maging masigasig sa pagbabasa, pananaliksik, at pagpapalawak ng kanilang kaalaman upang maging handa sa hamon ng makabagong edukasyon.
