AFS School Coordinators and Teachers of our AFS foreign exchange program participants build strong friendships with the students they are hosting and make new lifelong memories.
We have in this photo Bb. Patricia Aban from the Global City Innovative College (GIC), our partner school in Makati City, made sure she bid her farewell goodbye to Alice from Italy before she conclude her semester program and head back to Italy. GIC is also hosting Anna for 10 months, our AFS participant from Russia.

Requirements for AFS Philippines Global Schools:
🌎 Open for Public & Private Schools Nationwide!
*Public schools can host short-term program participants (2 weeks- 2 months) while Private Schools can host longer-term program participants (2 months to 10 months).
🌎 Must be accredited by the Bureau of Immigration
*It is a requirement that schools hosting longer-term program participants be accredited by the Bureau of Immigration
🌎 Can provide Filipino, English & History Subjects
🌎 Can provide opportunities for participants to share his/her culture
🌎 Willing to forego tuition fees & other school fees. AFS exchange students are on a cultural exchange program. Though they will be part of regular classes and participate in daily school activities, our participants do not get academic credits during their cultural exchange program. Our part schools have the discretion to provide the "Certificate of Participation and Attendance as AFS Foreign Exchange Student" at the end of the school year or semester or end of the program of the participants.
