Youth leaders and animators from the Don Bosco Makati Elementary, High School, and TVET Departments join fellow Salesian youth leaders and animators from different Don Bosco settings today, August 22, at the Salesian Youth and Animators Gathering @75 (SYNAG) at Don Bosco Academy, Pampanga.

Guided by the theme, “Bearers of Light: Enkindle, Rekindle the Fire in Our Soul,” this gathering commemorates 75 years of Salesian presence in the Philippines.

More than just a gathering, SYNAG is an opportunity for the participants to reconnect with one another, deepen their faith, renew their commitment, and rekindle the fire of their Salesian vocation. Through moments of prayer, formation, sharing, and fellowship, the young leaders and animators are reminded that the light they receive is a light they are called to share.

Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

The sessions for Sports Clinic Batch 1, originally scheduled for August 15 and 16, 2026, have been cancelled due to anticipated adverse weather conditions. Consequently, the initial session will now take place on August 22, 2026.

All classes for Basic Education Levels and TVET are suspended on August 10, 2026, due to the orange rainfall warning issued for Metro Manila.

Additionally, the work of all Non-Teaching Personnel is also suspended.

This announcement supersedes any previous communications regarding changes to the learning modality that we have issued.

This decision prioritizes the safety and well-being of Bosconians, Lay Mission Partners, and their families. Let us all pray for everyone’s safety.
