Dear Schoolmates. A close friend of our ISM classmate , Raymond Dragon asked me to share this on our class page. Many of you attended the reunion and saw him during our 25th Homecoming Reunion Dinner in Manila. Let’s all pray for his soul and for the love ones he has left behind 🙏

Please help our math teacher, Mrs. Rodriguez and help spread the word. Thank you!
I hope this message finds you and your family well, safe and in the best of health. This is Mrs. Victoria Elsie M. Rodriguez, 72 years old, a former High School Math teacher at the International School Manila, taught Mathematics from 1976 and retired in 2009. I’m hoping that you still remember me from your days as a student at ISM.
No matter how old we are, it's never easy to lose a loved one. I lost my husband Jose (Jun) last September 2020 due to aggressive cancer. I witnessed every minute of his painful battle; I was with him 24/7 when he was at home bedridden for 3 months and another 3 months in the hospital. In the midst of today’s world pandemic, as I am in this very difficult period of bereavement, I am appealing for your support to ease some of the pain that I am still trying to work through.
Please help me. I struggled with the decision on whether or not to reach out, but we are in dire need of help, hoping to appeal to your generous heart, in hopes to seek hospital/medical financial assistance from you. I have been struggling financially for the past months and I have tried several options for financial help. I have also used our remaining savings, but unfortunately, I am still unable to pay our overwhelming hospital bill. The first Rodriguez Medical funding plea for financial assistance was made before they discovered that Jose had aggressive cancer. We tried to save his life, but due to the complications of cancer, we lost him and are left with the medical bill in the amount of 7 million pesos (6M pesos hospital bill plus doctors' fees) which we unfortunately do not have the means/resources to pay for, especially during this time of pandemic.
The amount we have collected is not enough to pay the hospital in full. We are still short of 5 million pesos. We were only given a year to fully pay the entire amount. I am now in my 70's, with no job and no medical insurance since I retired in 2009 with no work pension. Our three daughters (with their own families) have also exhausted their financial resources since the year 2019 to help pay for their dad's prostate surgery.
I prepared a new website URL (http://www.rodriguezmedfund.com) providing details, requesting for financial assistance with a medical abstract and a certified true statement of accounts ready upon request.
Please also help me to reach out to your parents and friends who may know me and anyone who might be able to help me get in touch or connect with any foundation or organization who can provide financial medical assistance.
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider my situation and I look forward to hearing from you soon. My constant prayer to God is for Him to continuously bless each person that has prayed and has given us a generous gift. May God bless you abundantly and protect and keep you and your entire family safe. hugs=:) Mrs Rod
