Ngayon, nabasa ko sa Inquirer na nakapagtapos na pala siya. Nakakatuwa na nagagamit ang mga pang-estudyanteng prokeyto sa ating mga pamantasan upang gawan ng dokumentasyon ang mga tunay na pangyayari sa ating lipunan. Muli, congrats sa grupo ng mga mag-aaral na gumawa nito. At congrats din kay Nanay Salvacion sa kanyang pagtatapos at pag-abot sa kaniyang pangarap.

Five UMak student films will be featured at the DIWA Filipino Film Showcase in Seattle on June 2 and 3 at The Armory at Seattle Center, Loft 1.

Allan Garchitorena's ANGKAS, Aljon Aguila's PARA PO, and Jerald Yucot's PUTI, are among the finalists in the 1st ASEANnale Film and Multimedia Competition.in the documentary film category,

They will be joined by four other UMak-produced works, John Tobias' BANGON, also under the documentary category, Lorna Ray del Val, jr.'s under the multimedia arts category, and under the animation category, Edmond del Rosario's BEAUTIFUL SOUL and Donnie Ray Ipan's KAPIT.
