After a strong 5-1 run in the eliminations and a hard-fought semifinal win over the Knights, the APC Rams battled with heart and determination to claim Game 1 of the Finals against the Tostitos. With that victory, we are now just one win away from lifting the perpetual championship trophy of the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 9. 🏆

Game 2 is our chance to finish what we started. The Rams are ready, and with your support, we can claim the title and keep the trophy where it belongs — at APC.

Here is the updated playoff bracket for the APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 9 Elite Division.

The APC Rams have swept their semifinal series against defending champions Knights, 2-0. Meanwhile, Veni Vidi Vici forced a do-or-die Game 3 on August 9 against Tostitos.

After securing a statement win in Game 1 of the APCRAA Season 9 Semi-finals against the defending champions, the Knights, the APC Rams Men’s Basketball Team is now just one win away from reaching the Finals in their debut season.

The Rams executed their game plan almost perfectly, hitting most of their targets on both ends of the floor. But the job isn’t finished.

With their season on the line, the Knights are expected to bounce back stronger. They’ve been here before—and they won’t go down without a fight.

Will the Rams finish the series and take down the reigning champs?
Or will the Knights force a winner-take-all Game 3?

Game 2 decides it all.

APC Rams Take Game 1 Over Defending Champs in Semis Debut

The APC Rams Varsity opened their semi-final campaign in APCRAA Basketball Tournament Season 9 with a composed and calculated 84–79 win over the defending champion Knights on Saturday night.

Facing the same team that handed them a loss in the eliminations, the Rams responded with a complete performance built on preparation, ex*****on, and total team effort. This marks a strong start to their first-ever Final Four appearance.

From scouting reports to film breakdown, the Rams checked off every key metric they targeted coming into the game:

84 Total Points (Target: 78+)

37 Fast Break Points (Target: 30+)

56 Points in the Paint (Target: 45+)

37 Points off Turnovers (Target: 35+)

42 Bench Points (Target: 40+)

Reimond Trinidad, Manveer Singh, Szymone Mendoza, Justin Hernando, Kurt Soloria, and Kenzo Soloria led the charge statistically, but the win was defined by the collective effort on both ends of the floor.

“They embraced who they are,” said Coach Raymond. “Each player leaned into their role, focused on their strengths, and surrendered fully to the game plan. That’s why we executed the way we did. But the job’s not done—we’ll go back to the drawing board this week. We’ll train, watch the film, study what worked and what didn’t, and address the mistakes we made in Game 1. From there, we’ll set new targets and prepare with even greater focus heading into Game 2.”

The Rams now hold a 1–0 advantage in the best-of-three series as they continue their historic debut season in the ABT.
