This May, Playworks Salcedo is offering joyful music classes and flexible Playcare sessions designed to nurture confidence, creativity, movement, and a love for learning through play.

Our music programs are facilitated by performing arts coach _Maffy Soler-da Roza_, who specializes in confidence-building music and performance experiences for children.

This Women’s Month, we celebrate the incredible women of Early Childhood, especially our Directress, who has laid the foundation for every Playworks teacher to nurture with intention, love children deeply, and embrace the power of play.

“Fire truck, fire truck, I wanna ride on a fire truck!” 🎶

As the toddler class wrapped up their learning about clothes, what better way to bring it to life than by exploring the special clothing firefighters wear to keep themselves safe while protecting others?

Today, the children discovered how important protective gear is, from helmets to heavy jackets, and how these help firefighters do their brave and important work. It was also a wonderful chance for the children to experience a glimpse of what firefighters do for our community.

This culminating activity brought together learning about clothing, understanding community helpers, and practicing social responsibility, plus all the excitement packed into one unforgettable fire truck experience. 🚒✨

Families are a beautiful part of our exploration. We always want our children to feel that their homes are connected to their school, their second home.

Today, we were so blessed to have Mommy Aila step into our classroom as our guest teacher! She shared her profession with us and taught the children how to take meaningful photos. The children became photographers for a day, learning about angles, styles, and how a simple click can tell a story of smiles, love, and friendship. Our classroom was filled with creativity, laughter, and proud little photographers capturing special moments.
