IN PHOTOS | The UMak Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), under the College of Business Administration (CBA), successfully held its first-ever event, Research Talk 1.0, yesterday August 12, 2026 at the UMak Auditorium. The event welcomed 3rd Year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Human Resource Management (BSBA HRM) and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) students as they geared up for their upcoming research journey.

With the theme "Research Ready: Equipping Future HR and Office Professionals for Academic Success," the talk covered the essentials of writing a research paper, tackling Chapters 1 to 3 and giving students a stronger footing as they head into their academic requirements. Beyond the lessons learned, the event also set the tone for what SHRM aims to offer its members this year: real guidance, real support, and a community that grows together.
