The 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐇𝐑𝐌) extends its sincerest gratitude to all students, faculty members, officers, and donors who supported our recent donation initiatives. Through your generosity, we were able to transform compassion into meaningful action and provide assistance to communities in need.

1. 𝐇𝐑 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞

Last 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, SHRM successfully collected hygiene kits and essential supplies intended for the Community Extension Program: “𝑻𝒂𝒐 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚: 𝑯𝑹 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉”. However, due to scheduling conflicts and the unavailability of transportation necessary to conduct the outreach activity, the planned extension project was unfortunately cancelled.

To ensure that your donations would still reach those who need them most, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐔𝐒𝐂) - 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 and were subsequently distributed to families affected by the recent fire incident in 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚. 𝐀𝐧𝐚, 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

2. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞: 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞

We are also pleased to share the successful completion of our "Declutter For A Cause" campaign, an initiative of SHRM aimed at giving pre-loved items a second life while supporting meaningful community programs.

All donated pre-loved clothes, books, toys, and other usable items were formally 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐃), 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟎𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The donations were personally received by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐢ñ𝐨 𝐄. 𝐅𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐃.

The donated items will be endorsed to Caritas Manila's Segunda Mana Program, where they will be sold through charity outlets. In addition, the program promotes environmental stewardship through reuse and recycling while supporting livelihood opportunities for partner communities.

Together, we have proven that even the simplest act of giving can create a lasting impact. Whether through hygiene essentials, pre-loved belongings, or your unwavering support, you have helped bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to many lives.

As part of an initiative launched by the USC Office of the Vice President, this evaluation allows students to provide constructive comments on their student representatives' performance, leadership, and contributions.
