August 23 was another full-packed day of learning, beauty, creativity, confidence, and connection as we welcomed Passionista Glow Academy — Batch 9! Yesterday was more than just learning how to apply makeup. It was a day filled with techniques, beauty secrets, hands-on learning, discoveries, laughter, and moments that reminded us that every woman has her own beauty, her own story, and her own journey.

Some came with experience. Some came simply because they wanted to learn something new. Others came with a dream of becoming better at what they already love.

But regardless of where you started yesterday, always remember:
-Your beginning does not have to look like someone else’s journey.
-What matters is that you continue to learn, practice, improve, and believe in what you are capable of becoming.

At Passionista, we believe that beauty education should not only teach you how to make up a face—it should help you discover the confidence to show up, express yourself, and create possibilities with the skills you have learned.

And when women learn, support, and empower one another, everyone has the opportunity to grow.

Before Passionista became the growing beauty and empowerment platform it is today (starting 2014), there were milestones that helped shape its foundation.

One of those unforgettable moments was in 2018, when Passionista took its first international step with a step-by-step makeup tutorial demonstration in Singapore.

This significant milestone came right after the Makeup, Skincare and Digestive Training for days, bringing together beauty, proper preparation, wellness, and professional makeup application.

Adding to the significance of this international experience was the strong involvement of Motives® Cosmetics, a high-end U.S. beauty brand. All cosmetics used during the demonstration were from Motives, reflecting the quality and professional beauty standards Passionista aimed to bring to its audience.

Following this training and international demonstration, Kitchie Uy’s professional identity evolved beyond simply being known as a Makeup Artist. Because her expertise extended beyond makeup into styling, transformation, and other creative artistry, she was recognized as a Makeover Consultant.

It was a defining moment that reflected an important truth:
“As your skills grow, your identity evolves—and sometimes your purpose becomes bigger than the title you started with.”

From that first international training and the opportunity to give a step-by-step makeup demonstration in Singapore in 2018, Passionista has continued to uphold its commitment to high-standard, step-by-step tutorial demonstrations and proper professional standards in makeup application.

Because beauty education is not simply about putting makeup on a face. It is about understanding the process, technique, product knowledge, discipline, artistry, and confidence behind every transformation.

And today, that same passion for quality beauty education and transformation continues through the Passionista Glow Academy Makeup Training & Beauty Masterclass.
