COCC RECEPTION RITES CLASS MANDALAT ‘19

On September 8, 2024, the 3rd Training Day of the 270th NROTC took place at the University of Makati’s Track and Oval Field. The day kicked off with early morning drills and physical conditioning exercises designed to test our endurance and strengthen camaraderie among cadets. We pushed through intense formations and field maneuvers under the guidance of our officers, building discipline and unity.

After a full morning of physical training, we transitioned into discussions on Citizenship Training, Drug Education, Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Interior Guard, and First Aid, expanding our knowledge for future responsibilities.

On September 1, 2024, the 270th NROTC conducted its second training day, which commenced with morning colors to honor our ensign flag, marking the start of a disciplined and structured day.

The Training day featured the donning of ranks to the Cadet Officer, signifying their advancement and achievements.
Following the rank ceremonies, cadets participated in basic COD drills aimed at enhancing their fundamental military knowledge. They also received instruction on Military Courtesy and the History of the AFP from our experienced training staff, deepening their understanding of military traditions and protocols.

The 270th Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit (NROTCU) conducted its orientation last 25 August 2024, at University of Makati Performing Arts and Theater.

Mr. Kenneth V Panes ROTC Program Director, delivered his opening remarks and reminded the students of not just importance of the completion of the course but the benefits that comes with it. The Commandant COL LEO FRINCILLO PN(M) (GSC) and Dean Dr. Lucia B. Dela Cruz also gave their motivational speeches to all the students.

Cadets were oriented on the ROTC Program of Instruction, including the rules and conduct expected of them. They were given the opportunity to raise questions and concerns during an open forum, which were addressed by the training staff.

There were 862 out of 982 enrolled attended the said orientation. Recruitment for COCC and Corps of Sponsors were also done after the program proper.

Kudos to our 270th Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps athletes who excelled during the Luzon Leg of the Philippine ROTC Games 2024 held on 28 July to 2 August 2024!

Congratulations to the 270th Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit-University of Makati for their outstanding achievements at the Local Annual General Tactical Inspection (LAGTI) 2024!

They were hailed Champion in Field Stripping, secured Second Place in Raid and Ambush, and became the 3rd (Third) Overall Winner of LAGTI 2024 held on 20th to 29th of April 2024.

This success is a testament to your commitment to excellence and the countless hours of hard work you've invested. It highlights the exceptional standards you uphold and sets a powerful example for future endeavors.
