Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation
The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation is a non-profit in the Philippines that helps children in remote and impoverished areas access education.
It began in 2010 when friends discovered kids in a Zamboanga coastal community had to swim to school. Moved by their struggles, they provided a yellow boat to ensure safer school travel. The foundation has since expanded, providing boats to various coastal and isolated communities across the country. These yellow boats symbolize hope and a brighter future for children. Today, we celebrate the extraordinary women whose love, sacrifices, and unwavering strength continue to inspire hope in every family and community. ๐
Mothers are often the quiet heroes behind every dream fulfilled and every child encouraged to keep going despite lifeโs challenges. Through sleepless nights, endless prayers, hard work, and unconditional love, they become the guiding light that helps shape a brighter future for the next generation.
Just like every journey toward hope, a motherโs love carries us through the storms, lifts us during difficult times, and reminds us that no dream is ever too far to reach. Their courage and compassion create ripples of kindness that inspire entire communities to move forward with faith and determination.
From all of us at Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, we honor and thank every mother who continues to paddle with love, strength, and hope for their children and communities.
Happy Motherโs Day to all the amazing moms around the world. Your love changes lives every single day. ๐ทโจ

: Repairs to the typhoon-damaged classroom at Old Sagay National High School are now underway! ๐ซโจ
We are delighted to share that the replacement of the ceiling and doors in one of the classrooms at Old Sagay National High School, our adopted school in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, is now in progress following the delivery of vital construction materials. In November 2025, Super Typhoon devastated the island, inflicting severe damage on the classroom and interrupting education for our resilient students.
Through the Bayanihan Build Back Better program and our cherished partnership with TFP, we are rebuilding this classroom to be more robust and secure than before. This effort is restoring a safe, dignified learning environment where children can study, grow, and chase their dreams.
Our sincere thanks to our partners at TFP! Your generosity is creating a lasting, resilient space for the children who need it most. We truly could not have reached this milestone without your support!
We also extend our profound gratitude to Hope Paddler Sir ReneBoy Lagoyo, the committed teachers, parents, and volunteers of the Old Sagay National High School community for your unwavering partnership in these repairs. Your dedication embodies the authentic spirit of bayanihan. ! โต

: The Yellow School of Hope Starter Classroom at Pandi Elementary School has been officially turned over! ๐ซโจ
We are delighted to share the successful turnover of the starter classroom at our adopted school in Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur. This key achievement underscores our firm commitment to building secure, nurturing spaces where children can thrive and advance their learning. None of this would have been achievable without our effective partnership with the Golden Star Foundation.
In remote, resource-scarce locations like Datu Salibo, students often attend classes in exposed, makeshift structures that are highly susceptible to harsh weather, routinely disrupting their education. Our new starter classroom addresses this issue head-on by delivering the shelter and stability vital to their achievement.
We extend our profound gratitude to the Golden Star Foundation for their steadfast trust, substantial support, and continued collaboration. Your commitment is instrumental in expanding quality education opportunities for children in distant communities such as Datu Salibo.
We also convey heartfelt thanks to Hope Paddler Sir Mastura Unayan for his relentless on-site supervision of the project. Your dedication ensured consistent advancement throughout every stage of construction. Our special recognition goes to Brgy. Officials Mama A. Mamantal and Zahiri M. Laguiab for their invaluable assistance.
Moreover, thank you and congratulations to the teachers, parents, and volunteers at Pandi Elementary School for embodying the bayanihan spirit that made this classroom a reality. We are excited for the lasting positive impact this classroom will have on the children's learning experience. thanks to you! โต
