The Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium or Tala Hospital held its onsite awarding ceremony on May 21, 2026 in Tala, Caloocan, celebrating its PGS Compliant status achievement.

The awarding ceremony, conducted during their 86th founding anniversary culminating week, recognized the team's efforts during their Online Revalida held on February 6, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by ISA Trustee Atty. Alexander Lacson, who delivered a congratulatory speech addressed to various Tala Hospital department heads and staff, represented by Medical Professional Staff Chief Dr. Maryll Abaño and new Office for Strategy Management (OSM) Head Dr. Federico Dasalla.

Tala Hospital positions itself to become a 600-bed Apex hospital distinguished in healthcare excellence while proactively supporting the community and environment.

A promising partnership emerged on April 28, 2026 following the exploratory meeting held between officials from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) and the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) as part of the national government’s efforts to ensure faster, more accessible, and more transparent government services for all Filipinos.

The discussion highlighted several touchpoints that both institutions could work on in pursuit of integrating ISA’s Performance Governance System (PGS) into ARTA’s monitoring, compliance, and regulatory reform mandates.

The possible integration may potentially advance the country’s competitiveness and readiness for business ventures. A working discussion to define partnership parameters will follow.
