CITE Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Ryan Casino De Una

We proudly celebrate the inspiring journey of Dr. Ryan C. De Una, a distinguished graduate of the University of Makati โ€“ College of Innovative Teacher Education (CITE)! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Dr. De Una earned his Bachelor of Elementary Education, major in Early Childhood Education, in 2003. Today, he serves as the Principal of Pembo Elementary School under the Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros, where he continues to shape young minds and lead with excellence. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒŸ

Driven by his passion for education, Dr. De Una pursued further studies and obtained both a Masterโ€™s Degree and a Doctorate in Educational Management ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ“–โ€”strengthening his ability to lead, innovate, and support meaningful educational reforms.

His commitment to improving the Philippine education system extends beyond the school campus. Dr. De Una actively participates in consultation meetings for the Second Congressional Commission on Education, contributing valuable insights on learner well-being and inclusion ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“.

He is also a proud member of the National Pool of Learning Resource Evaluators (NP-LREs) under the Department of Educationโ€™s Bureau of Learning Resources, helping ensure that learning materials used by students nationwide meet high standards of quality and relevance ๐Ÿ“šโœ….

From 2021 to 2023, Dr. De Una served as the President of the Philippine Elementary School Principals Association (PESPA), SDO Makati Chapter, and he currently serves as Auditor of PESPA for the SDO Taguig City and Pateros Chapter ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ“Šโ€”continuing his service to fellow school leaders.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements and dedication to education, he was honored as an Outstanding Alumni Awardee by the University of Makati ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ‰.

Beyond education leadership, Dr. De Una also serves as the Council Training Commissioner for the Taguig City Council of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines ๐Ÿ•๏ธโšœ๏ธ, helping nurture leadership, character, and civic responsibility among the youth.
