IN PHOTOS | The UMak Muslim Students Association (UMMSA) organized Faith In Balance on April 11, 2026, at HPSB Room 817, centered on the theme “Distinct Roles, Shared Amanah and Mas’uliyyah,” bringing together Muslim men and women in a shared space of faith and reflection.

The event demonstrated a common sense of accountability, purpose, and dedication to faith by highlighting, despite differences in roles, everyone bears the same responsibility before Allah. The participants were reminded during reflective and conversational moments that these different roles are not divisions but rather complementary duties that deepen understanding, foster unity, and create a more harmonious and faith-driven community.

With the theme “𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙩 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙨’𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙮𝙮𝙖𝙝,” this seminar reminds us that even if our roles are different, we carry the same responsibility before Allah.

This is a chance to reflect, to learn, and to better understand how we can live with balance while staying grounded in our faith.

In celebration of the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr, we warmly invite our Muslim brothers and sisters to join us in a congregational prayer as we mark the joyous end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In line with this, here are some basic guidelines and rules to follow when praying in the premises of the university.

✨𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒✨

• The Gate will Open at 4:00 AM
• The Eid Prayer will start at 6:00 AM, we suggest to arrive at the venue 1 hour before the Eid Prayer
• Please dispose of your trash properly.Keep the area clean
• Be mindful of your belongings, the
University will not be held responsible.
• No pets allowed
• Keep your phone in silent
• Strictly NO SMOKING/VAPING at the venue
• SHARP objects are not allowed
• Worshippers should observe silence and maintain sacredness during the prayer and while the Takbir is being recited, listen attentively and refrain from doing unnecessary activities.
• Eid prayer is performed in congregation, and it is highly recommended for worshippers to stand together, fill the gaps in the rows, and avoid praying alone at the back unless there is no space available.

Let us celebrate the Feast of the End of Ramadhan with discipline and care for both our brothers and sisters, as well as our surroundings.

Therefore the Eid’l Fit’r will be celebrated on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆). This result has been properly conducted by the official moon sighting team, who had been gathered to agreed-upon strategic locations and has been proactively led by the Bangsamoro M***i, Sheikh Abdulrauf A. Guialani.

The Muslim Community Grand Iftar 2026 brought together members of the community for an evening of reflection, connection, and shared gratitude during the blessed month of Ramadan. It was a meaningful opportunity to pause, come together, and appreciate the spirit of unity that defines this season.

Alhamdulillah, UMMSA Istiqbal Ramadan concluded last February 11, 2026 at HPSB 701. Grateful for the meaningful lesson and reminders shared by Imam Hamdani Matuan and Imam Abdul Karim Dagohoy. Also thankful for the inspiring message of Asgare Sultan (ṭālib al-ʿilm) and the visit of our former CSOA Director, Prof. Angelito Vargas, for showing his continues support.

Istiqbal Ramadan is our way of welcoming the blessed month—preparing our hearts, renewing our intentions, and returning to Allah with sincerity.

May this Ramadan soften our hearts, strengthen our faith, and make us better than who we were before. 🤍
