Assalamualaikum Warahmutullahi Wamabarakatu!

Greetings, Muslim Herons!

With just one month left until the cherished moments of reflection, gratitude, and unity during Ramadan, Allah SWT says in the Qur'an,

شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ فَعِدَّةٌۭ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ١٨٥

"The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the crescent of] the month,1 let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful." [Qur'an 2:185]

May the goodness of the month of Ramadan anticipation fill our hearts! 🌙

On January 30, 2024, our Young Ministers got an opportunity to engage with the children and young adult with special needs at La Sagesse Rehabilitation and Development Center in Buting, Pasig. A wonderful and inspiring half-day filled with significant sharing of stories and discoveries.

Congratulations to our 2 Young Ministers, Patricia Leccio and Joseph Niedo who represented the UMak Interfaith Campus Ministry student volunteers in the Yup.Peace (Young Peacemakers of Campus) Batch 21 Ledership Training Seminar and Workshop last November 25-27 in Horacio Dela Costa Formation and Retreat House, Trece Martires Cavite.
Patuloy na Mangarap para sa kinabukasan, Pagdanasan ang mga pagsubok ng may tiyaga at malawak na pang-unawa at Tumaya para sa Kanya upang ipagpatuloy ang misyong nasimulan na.
