It is with a heavy heart that I share a sad news…. Our dear Sochie has passed yesterday afternoon after succumbing to congenital heart failure. It has been a few months now since she’s been diagnosed with heart ailment and been struggling to support her medical needs. Many of you may have extended help already and for sure, Sochie has been thankful for this. During these past weeks, I have tried to reach out again as she was rushed to the hospital and in ICU for a few days and already on oxygen for critical support. She needed surgery but decided to get out of the hospital due to financial difficulties. We were even able to get some government assistance for her case but it was too late (Theresa Santos pulled some strings to get a more permanent solution to her illness). The day she was called on was hours past when she passed.
Sochie filled our Silver and Pearl Velada with so much life! She moved every single muscle as she danced away to Gary V, Black Pink and BTS. She had a different and difficult life but it didn’t stop her from coming back to us and making that impACt on us. (Michelle Serrano was pivotal to her return then ❤️)
We ask for your prayers and love for Sochie, Maria Socorro Marquez Edwards, to get to heaven and be with “Mama Mary’s loving arms” (as Agnes Padilla posted in our chat). 🙏
