Google has confirmed a recent security breach that may put millions of Gmail accounts at risk. This comes after Google confirmed that 2.5 billion Gmail accounts were compromised when the hacker group ShinyHunters breached their Salesforce database.

In response, all UMak Herons are strongly advised to update their email passwords and enable 2-Step Verification to secure their accounts. Stay vigilant against suspicious emails and links. Protect your data, Herons! Online safety starts with you.
