📜 Oath-Taking of UMak Law Student Practitioners ⚖️

Pursuant to Rule 138-A (Law Student Practice Rule) of the Rules of Court, the oath-taking of Law Student Practitioners I and II from the University of Makati School of Law was administered by Hon. Loralie Cruz Datahan, Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 69, Taguig City, via online video conferencing on February 11, 2026.

Under the Law Student Practice Rule, law student practitioners are authorized to assist and render legal services under the supervision of a qualified supervising lawyer, in furtherance of ethical practice, service to those in need, and the ideals of the legal profession.

The law student practitioners were grateful for the support and presence of Executive Dean Jose M. Layug, Jr. and Atty. Antony J. Parreño during the oath-taking, and look forward to their continued guidance as they begin their supervised law student practice.
