On ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ 21, 2025, the ๐—จ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—ฆ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—–๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—น joined the historic ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—ฎ ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐—Ÿ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ผ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐—ตโ€”a massive day of protest marking the 53rd Anniversary of Martial Law and amplifying the nationโ€™s call to ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป in the Philippines.

The USC stands firm in solidarity with all sectors of societyโ€”workers, students, teachers, and communitiesโ€”who continue to demand a government that truly serves the people. ๐’๐„๐๐“. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ | 53 Years of Declaration of Martial Law.

On this day September 21 in 1972, Martial Law was declared under the Leadership of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. For over five decades, this date has served as a painful reminder of fear, violence, and corruption that gripped our nation. Thousands of Filipinos were silenced, tortured, and murdered. Billions of pesos were stolen from the peopleโ€™s hard earned resources. Martial Law isnโ€™t just a chapter in historyโ€”itโ€™s a haunting echo that warns us of the dangers of unchecked power.

Even today, the shadows of that dark period linger. Abuse of authority persists, corruption continues to drain our nationโ€™s resources, and the rights and freedoms fought for by countless Filipinos are once again under threat. We cannot afford to remain silent or turn a blind eye. We must remember history so that it does not repeat itself.

This day is not only about remembrance but also about resistance. We honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made. Their voices remind us that vigilance and justice are ongoing battles. To remember is to stand against oppression
