Attention alumni and friends. Joint PSIA and Metrologyx Training & Assessment Center collaboration, now open for Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC3. We offer the course plus an added Asset Management training for 3 week s sessions. Our reduced training tuition price is in line with OWWA beneficiary or non OWWA at 18.5k pesos. Enrollee can be of flexible schedule of weekend sessions (Saturday classes) until complete the number of hours per Tesda Training Regulations. Assessment will follow after completion of the training course.
Other experience technicians with who wants to be assessed for ICS NC2 without taking the whole ICS NC2 training course can also avail of our offered Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC2 review course prior to NC2 assessment. The review will be 2 to 3 days sessions includes hands on and virtual written examination. The review tuition for 3 days to cover the three competencies (COC) is 4,500 pesos.
Training venue will be at Metrologyx Training and Assessment at 4th Floor Inocencio Bldg. 98 Gil Puyat Avenue, Pasay City (near corner Roxas Boulevard).

Requirements for request of Transcript of Record (TOR) and National Certification.
All students current and previous who are still with back subjects or failing grades in their curriculum are required to complete and pass your remaining failed subject as soon as possible (ASAP).
Students fail to comply passing all the subject required in the ICT curriculum will be considered undergraduate, such they will not be issued Diploma or any certification that they have graduated and completed the ICT course.
Transcript of Record (TOR) request of student who did not complete the ICT course (means passing all the subject in the curriculum) will not be granted.
TOR request will only be granted or issued when the student request is for the purpose of continuing his/her study in different school/University. Must be accompanied by letter of request from the school/university he/she will intend to enroll. Such for possible purpose of credit of the subjects he/she has already completed or passed and approved by the school he/she intended to enroll in continuing his/her study.
Undergraduate students request for TOR for the purpose of Job application is not acceptable as national Education requirements that TOR is issued only to individual who have graduated and completed the curriculum course. Any other purpose of requesting a TOR must be accompanied by Letter of Request from Company or school/University. Indicating the need for the individual's TOR as necessary.
PSIA was a TESDA school, TESDA regulation suggests ICT graduate who has not obtain their Special Order (SO) should required to take the NC ll or lll assessment to certify them of their competency on their acquired academic or vocational completed course. Inline with, as TESDA has now migrated to short courses leading to NC certification after assessment. (PSIA ICT graduate do not need to take the NC short courses to avail of the assessment process).
TESDA has also providing program to issue Diploma and Special Order (SO) after completing / passing all the Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC ll, lll, lV assessment. ICT graduate and their years of experience are qualified to take these assessments. Although they are encourage to take the higher level of NC course training and accomplish no. of hours as mandated by the TESDA Training Regulations.
National Government policy requires National Certificate (NC) for individual skill practitioner as a proof of your competent on the practice of your technical field and skill.
Metrologyx Training and Assessment Center will be conducting assessment for Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC lll. Everybody is welcome to register for the assessment. We have now seven confirm candidate, we need at least 10 candidates to put up a definite schedules. TESDA assessor and regulations prefer minimum 10 candidates to pursue the assessment proper.

All PSIA graduates are encourage to complete their career in Instrumentation and Control by having themselves pursue the National Certification (NC ll /lll / lV). Being ICT graduate is your academic/educational qualifications and does not necessarily your competent on your industry field.
Government and Industry local or abroad are mandated to grade industry career practitioner now based on competency in their field of skill. Such, the competency will be based on your landed level of certification of your field/skill. Our National Certificate (NC ll / lll / lV..etc) is the evidence of competency of individual in the field/industry.
The National Certificate is the basis of recognition of you competency, such it is the product of your educational attainment. Without landing the level of competency thru NC, your education attainment cannot guarantee your future development and higher pay. The National Certificate will, because it is a proof of your competent, because you have been assessed by the senior professional and practitioner and passing the assessment (practical and written) prove you are competent on a job your career desired. These process are the updated TESDA mandate regulation for technical / vocational graduates.
Please have yourself go to assessment process on obtaining your National Certificate (NC) level. All TESDA school graduate are mandated to complete the National Certification (NC). This is similar to CHED (Higher Education) school graduate mandated to pass the Licensure exam.

CONGRATULATIONS.
Our instructor Mam Dalisay Sarmiento is now a certified TESDA accredited instructor for Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC ll. She has completed her NTTC (National TVET Training Certification) and becoming a full pledge instructor for the Instrumentation training course.
Currently she is conducting the training for the 1st batch of TESDA scholarship training participants in the Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC ll at Metrologyx Training and Assessment Center. She is also on the process of becoming an accredited TESDA assessor on the Instrumentation and Control NC courses.

TESDA is having a program for Industry Assessment on Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC2/3.
Employee of Industrial/Commercial and Service company can avail of having their technicians to be assessed for NC (National Certificate) by TESDA for free and assessment schedule at their desired time. TESDA has mandated the accredited Training and Assessment Center to conduct such assessment for free and TESDA will provide the cost and the Assessor, the NC certificate after passing the assessment will also be given by TESDA.
Pass this info to your Employer and avail of the TESDA Industry Assessment program. Metrolgyx Training and Assessment center will conduct the assessment proper for the interested Industry/Company.

Metrologyx Training and assessment center and PSIA is inviting Instrumentation and Control practitioner for the upcoming I & C Servicing NC lll assessment schedule on April 20, 2018.
Invitations are for those with NC ll already, and want to pursue the next level of their I&C career qualifications. Those who are ICT graduate and already experienced and currently working on the instrumentation industry do not require the NC lll training course, they can directly avail themselves of the assessment.
Although anybody who want to avail of review class session prior to assessment, Metrologyx will provide days of review to have self of getting higher chances of passing the assessment.
Those who have landed an I&C NC ll yet lack the required experience to qualify for assessment for NC lll, Metrologyx offer I&C NC lll training course. The NC lll training course is 80 hours (approximately 3 weeks). After completion of training an assessment will be given to those who complete the course. Those working can avail of Saturday class only training schedule until completed the 80 hours session.
TESDA will be conducting the assessment for NC lll at Metrologyx facility.

TESDA TRAINING FOR WORK SCHOLARSHIP (TWSP) PROGRAM
The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is the government agency tasked to manage and supervise technical education and skills development (TESD) in the Philippines. It was created by virtue of Republic Act 7796, otherwise known as the “Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994”.
One of TESDA’s programs is the Training for Work Scholarship (TWSP). This program provides immediate interventions to meet the need for highly critical skills. The program has two-fold objectives:to purposively drive TVET provision to available jobs through incentives and appropriate training programs that are directly connected to existing jobs for immediate employment, both locally and overseas,to build and strengthen the capacity and capability of TVET institutions in expanding and improving the delivery of quality, efficient and relevant training programs that meet job requirements, including programs for higher levels of technology.
1.0 Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time the scholar finishes the training;
2.0 Educational attainment shall be based on industry requirements or as prescribed in the relevant Training Regulations;
3.0 Can either be out-of-school youths, TVET trainers or industry workers obtaining skills upgrading training programs;
4.0 Priority shall be given to those without prior formal or vocational trainings as well as those coming from regions or provinces where the absolute number of poor residents and the incidence of poverty are high, as identified in the latest official poverty statistics of the PSA-NSCB; and
5.0 Other clientele groups such as persons with disability (PWDs), indigenous people, solo parents and their children, senior citizens shall be afforded access to scholarships opportunities in the qualifications/courses where they can qualify. OFW returnees, members of the families of AFP and PNP personnel killed in military and police operations and other marginalized groups may also avail of the scholarship program subject to pre-qualification.
6.0 MUST NOT BE CURRENTLY A BENEFICIARY OF GOVERNMENT EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS(E.G. OWWA SESP, SUP) OR OTHER GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY PROGRAMS.

For High School graduates, after completing the Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC2, NC3, NC4, they will be given a Diploma in Instrumentation and Control Technology (ICT). They also can get a Baccalaureate Degree in Technology through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETTEAP) after completing ten (10) years in the industry.
In this regard, we’d like to ask your good office to provide us with a list of eligible candidates from your constituency based on the qualifications above, who are willing, interested in, and are committed to undergo training in Instrumentation and Control Servicing.
Candidates must finish the duration of the course and pass the competency assessment in order to earn an internationally recognized TESDA National Certificate (NC) making him eligible for employment locally or globally.
Candidates must also submit a photocopy of their High School Diploma (Form 137), Technology or College Diploma, or Transcript of Records (TOR), whichever is applicable. Candidates must also submit two (2) passport size pictures matte finish with white background, and three (3) 2x2 pictures.
