One of the highlights of our Summer Socials 2023 is the Filipino and Swedish Folk Dances performed by Lussoc National High School (LNHS) Dance Troupe, one of the best dance groups in Ilocos. LNHS excels in the field of Science, Mathematics, English, Campus Journalism, leadership and extra-curricular activities like street dancing.

Trainers are Jasper Neil E. Ped, Lucina T. Robiñol, Susima P. Pajo, Lourdes T. Jaramillo, Virginia R. Tabangcura. We would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to the whole teaching and non-teaching staff of Lussoc National High School led by Flora B. Tinaza, Ed.D.

During the Summer Socials 2023, Coach Cedrick was awarded Most Oustanding Professional of the Year. We would like to congratulate Coach Cedrick, Coach Irish and Coach Shanaiah for their exemplary performance.

As part of our Summer Socials, we invited Miss Novie Ada Urbis for a talk about “How to Write a Book”. Just recently, Ae Da published her book “From Rock Bottom to Becoming a Warrior”. The short portion of the program is also a pre-launching of her book.

“Be grateful that we are grateful, it means we value the life that we have.It means appreciating everything in our lives: the good and the bad. They are all part of who, what, why, where and how we are destined to be. Being grateful should be added as a basic thing in our lives because every time we stumble, it pulls us up to whatever we should be. Be grateful.” Ae Da scribbled some notes on her own book pages as requested by the readers.

Of course, our quarterly socials is part of our Annual Business Planning. The four-part Summer Socials witnessed the success of the “Making the NexGen the NewGen Leaders” Program for Q1 2023, a pre-book launch, promotions and interim awards.

We would like to thank Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - UNP Chapter (JPIA-UNP) for helping us organizing our Annual Business Planning behind the scenes.

JPIA-UNP led the program at Balay Taripato, Magsingal, Ilocos Sur. Team building and culmination activities.

PREMIER has ONE purpose and that is to help communities. This purpose makes us to be passionate professionals and a people-centric firm.

Our Annual Business Planning always includes a social activity. This year, we visited Balay Taripato in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur. We provided gifts to our lolos and lolas, medicines and food. And two electric fans for Balay Taripato. Balay Taripato in Magsingal will be celebrating its 14th anniversary this July and we are glad to meet the pioneering member of Balay Taripato. She said "Naliday ti maymaysa. Ayaten yo dagiti nagannak yo" (It's hard to live alone. Love your parents).

Also, we provided two electric fans to Balay Taripato in Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur which is celebrating its anniversary this May.

Balay Taripato is the only government-run home for the aged in Ilocos Region. We would like to thank Ilocos Sur government, Balay Taripato leadership and staff for the warm welcome, and for the efforts and time they put for our elders.

We would like to thank Malakas Farm of San Juan, Ilocos Sur for their warm welcome. PREMIER learned about investing into mushroom farming, agribusiness best practices and most importantly, taking care of our environment.

For lunch, we had a four-course mushroom meal. Then, we had a hands on tour. For snacks, we tried their natural tea, mushroom coffee and the famous Ilocano dish miki.

We hope for the success of Malakas Farm. If you are visiting Ilocos, make it part of your itinerary.
