Project RPPS - Remote Professional Pharmacy Services

IN PHOTOS: The Institute of Pharmacy (IOP) successfully conducted a Remote Professional Pharmacy Services (RPPS) program for 60 senior citizens residing in Makati Home Ville on August 13, 2024. To enhance the well-being of these community members, IOP students led educational sessions on proper medication administration. The program involved dividing participants into groups to facilitate learning. This collaborative initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of IOP, CCED, and MSWD.

N PHOTOS: The Institute of Pharmacy (IOP) launched the Remote Professional Pharmacy Services (RPPS) in Dreamland Villa, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, on June 19, 2024. This program targeted senior citizens within the community, organizing them into groups. Guided by students, these individuals were educated on the proper administration of their medications to promote their well-being. This collaborative and fruitful endeavor was made possible through the combined efforts of the IOP, CCED, and MSWD.

The 3rd year BS Pharmacy students will hold the webinar, "Remote Professional Pharmacy Service: An Approach to a Home-Based Hypertension Management Program" it will be on January 11, 2022, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.

We are inviting you to join the said webinar, especially the level 1 & 2 BS Pharmacy students together with your family, relatives, friends, etc. who are suffering from hypertension.

Ms. Clarissa C. Ramos, MAPsy, RN (Faculty from the Center of Nursing), Mr, Juan Cadiz, RPh (COP-alumni), Ms. Jasmin Kae V. Sistoso, RPh (Clinical Pharmacist- COP-alumni) will join us in this webinar as our guest speakers. They will share their knowledge regarding hypertension management.

RPPS is a pharmacist-led program aims to offer both non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic services such as lifestyle modification, medication review, and patient counselling review, particularly to the hypertensive patients.
