Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural Sports Law Writing Competition!
Justin wrote a compelling paper on the rights of a child to play using a human rights approach to sports law. He received P30,000.00 as the first placer.
Blaise gave an insightful study on how trademarks are protected in e-Sports under Philippine IP laws. He received P20,000.00 as the runner-up.
Thank you to all participants! Looking forward to more papers for the 2024 competition!

Strategic Alliance of CIVIC Legal LLC of Singapore, Messrs Richard Wee Chambers of Malaysia and The Law Firm of Ingles Laurel Calderon of Philippines
On 14 July 2022, CIVIC Legal LLC ("CIVIC Legal") and Messrs Richard Wee Chambers ("RWC" Richard Wee Chambers) announced a strategic alliance to establish cross-border cooperation, particularly in the areas of sports law and also including litigation, advisory and corporate services.
Today, The Law Firm of Ingles Laurel Calderon ("ILC") is excited to announce that we have joined this strategic alliance.
The 3 law firms will now form a tripartite collaboration expanding the strategic alliance from Malaysia and Singapore, to the Philippines.
