Corruption is not only the theft of wealth. It is the theft of dreams, of dignity, and of the very soul of our nation. Every peso stolen is a child left without education, a patient left without healing, and a family left without hope. Corruption destroys lives.
The scars of history remind us of this painful truth. We remember the ghost projects that were promised but never built, the flood control plans that failed and left countless families suffering, and the so-called โgolden daysโ that were never truly golden but marked by fear, abuse, and greed. These are not achievements to glorify but wounds that the Filipino people continue to carry.
As members of Honors Society, we believe that excellence without integrity is hollow, and success without conscience is failure. Honor is not having a high position but having the courage to stand for what is just and true. To remain silent in the face of corruption is to betray both our people and our future.
We must let our voices be heard. We must speak against injustice and resist the distortion of history. We must have the courage to face the truth, to defend what is right, and to stand as one people determined to break the cycle of corruption.
We stand with the Filipino people in demanding accountability and transparency. Leadership is a sacred duty to uplift the people, not a privilege to enrich the few. True progress is measured not by monuments or slogans, but by justice, dignity, and hope restored to every Filipino.
We, the Honors Society, commit ourselves to remember, to resist, and to act. We raise our voices together: corruption has no place in our country, not yesterday, not today, not ever
We, unified as one voice, with honor as our pledge, integrity as our duty, and justice, we fight.
