The Commission on Higher Education has granted Institutional Recognition as a Higher Education Institution to the University of Makati. The certificate dated January 17, 2023, signed by Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III, DPA was officially received by OIC-President Elyxzur C. Ramos on May 9, 2023.

This recognition is proof of a promise to continue the University's journey to academic excellence beyond its horizons.

The AIDS Candlelight Memorial is a time to reflect on the impact of AIDS on our community and to recommit ourselves to fighting this disease.

As young people, we are the future of the fight against AIDS. We can make a difference by raising awareness about HIV, getting tested, and supporting those who are living with the virus.

Join us on May 19 as we LIGHT UP MAKATI in remembrance of those who have lost their lives to AIDS and in solidarity with those who are living with HIV.

We are ecstatic to announce that our far-reaching goal is now on our hands as the World Universities with Real Impact (WURI) places the University of Makati at the 101-200 Global Top Innovative Universities.
