HEADS UP, Nemesians!

In light of the power interruption, please be informed that classes tomorrow, June 17, 2025, will shift to ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM) for the safety and well-being of our learners.

In line with the continuity of learning, students are advised to coordinate with their class advisers to facilitate the efficient dissemination of tasks assigned by their subject teachers.

NIYIS hosts seminar on DepEd Anti-Bullying Policy

On June 10, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN, a seminar titled "Creating Safe and Conducive Spaces: A Deep Dive Into the DepEd Anti-Bullying Policy" was held at the Audio-Visual Room of Nemesio I. Yabut Senior High School.

The program began with Ms. Claire D. Papa, who discussed the SAFE SCHOOL, SAFE KIDS PROJECT under Alagang Unilab. The initiative aims to create a healthier and safer learning environment for students, addressing not only physical health but also mental well-being. Following her talk, Mr. Jonardo Y. Pablo delivered his heartwarming opening remarks.

Ms. Rowena A. Reyes, a Senior Education Program Specialist from SDO Makati, introduced the resource speaker.

Mr. Alberto D. Villamor, Education Program Supervisor of the School Governance and Operations Division, Schools Division Office of Marikina, discussed the Anti-Bullying Policy. He explained DepEd RA 10627, which addresses questions such as: Who are the main characters in a bullying incident? What acts constitute bullying? Where and when is bullying committed? He also discussed the different types of bullying, the possible consequences faced by bullies, and the policies in place to combat bullying.

The program concluded with the awarding of the certificate and closing remarks by Ms. Rowena A. Reyes.

Sa pagtatapos ng Brigada Eskwela kick-off program, pormal na sinimulan ang Brigada in Action kung saan aktibong nakilahok ang ilang mga mag-aaral, magulang, mga g**o at boluntaryo sa paglilinis ng mga silid-aralan, pagkukumpuni ng mga sirang kagamitan at pagsasaayos ng mga materyales na kailangan sa susunod na pasukan. Ang makabuluhang aktibidad na ito ay sumasalamin sa dedikasyon ng mga tao na magkaroon ng malinis at ligtas na kapaligiran para sa mga mag-aaral ng taong panuruan 2025-2026.

Patuloy pa ring nanghihikayat ang paaralan na makilahok ang bawat indibidwal sa aktibidad na Brigada in Action upang sama-samang magtulungan tungo sa mas malinis at maayos na kinabukasan ng mga mag-aaral.
