In line with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, or the Offenses and Penalties for Non-Bullying Related Incidents, and in observance of National Safety Week, Malalag National High School conducted an informative session during the flag ceremony on October 12, 2026, focusing on safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and the importance of maintaining a safe and motivating learning environment.

Our partner representatives shared valuable insights on how to respond to possible emergencies, including fire incidents and shooting threats, emphasizing the importance of staying calm, following safety protocols, and protecting ourselves and others.

Meanwhile, Shen L. Quimbo, SPTA President, highlighted the importance of fostering peace, unity, and mutual respect within the school community.

Three Wushu Sanda players from Malalag National High School proudly brought home three medals during the Wushu Sanda competition held in celebration of the Kadayawan Festival 2026 last August 22, 2026, at the LPU Gym, Lyceum of Davao! ๐ŸŽ‰

On August 10, 2026, the Malalag National High School SSLG Officers had the privilege of attending the Youth Congress, together with SSLG officers from different schools and representatives from various youth organizations across the Municipality of Maitum.

The event was held in partnership with the Mahintana Foundation, Inc., bringing together young leaders and advocates to learn, connect, and gain valuable insights on issues and opportunities that matter to the youth and our community.

Different speakers shared their knowledge and experiences on a variety of relevant topics, including teenage pregnancy, agriculture, aquaculture, and other important issues concerning young people and community development.
