Isinagawa sa Notre Dame of Maitum, Inc. ngayong ika-12 ng Oktubre ang pagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga G**o, bilang pagkilala sa kanilang dedikasyon at sakripisyong patuloy na humuhubog sa kaalaman at kinabukasan ng bawat mag-aaral.

Inorganisa ang nasabing selebrasyon ng mga opisyal ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), katuwang ang mga mag-aaral. Layunin ng pagdiriwang ang ipahayag ang pasasalamat at pagpapahalaga sa mga gurong hindi lamang nagtuturo ng mga aralin, kundi nagbibigay rin ng gabay at inspirasyong nagsisilbing pundasyon ng mga pangarap na patuloy inaabot.

Notre Dame of Maitum Inc. (NDMI) held its Term 1 Recognition Program at 1:00 p.m. today, October 2, at the NDMI Hall of Fame, honoring students for their academic achievements during the first term of the school year. The event brought together students, parents, teachers, and school personnel to recognize the learnersโ€™ efforts and accomplishments throughout the term.

Following the recognition ceremony, class advisers distributed the studentsโ€™ report cards to their respective parents. The activity allowed parents to receive and review their childrenโ€™s academic results while also marking the completion of the first term at NDMI.

October invites us once again to turn to the Holy Rosary, a prayer that has brought generations of faithful closer to Christ through Mary. In Fatima, Our Lady repeatedly asked the three shepherd children to pray the Rosary every day:

โ€œPray the Rosary every day, in order to obtain peace for the world.โ€
โ€” Our Lady of Fatima

Today, as many communities face fear and uncertainty brought by reports of school threats and violence, may we make the Rosary not only a tradition, but a prayer for peace, protection, and safety. Let every bead be a prayer for our students, teachers, families, and school communities, especially those who are carrying fear in their hearts.

May we pray for the protection of every school, for wisdom among those entrusted with keeping others safe, and for an end to violence that places innocent lives at risk. In moments when fear feels overwhelming, may our prayer remind us that we can continue to hope, care for one another, and seek peace.
