𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬

In celebration of the International Day of Mathematics 2026 with the theme “Mathematics and Hope,” the Mathematics Club of Mainit National High School proudly presents the Math Cosplay Contest!

🔹 Participants
• Selected students from Grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
• One contestant per section will represent their class.

🔹 Cosplay Concept
• Each contestant must dress up to represent a mathematical concept or figure.
• The portrayal must be relevant to mathematics and clearly reflect the International Day of Mathematics theme.

🔹 Performance
• Contestants will begin with a parade, briefly showcasing their costumes.
• The order of stage presentation will be drawn by lot.
• Each contestant must deliver a short explanation (1–2 minutes) about the costume’s concept and mathematical relevance.
• Props may be used but must be manageable and safe.

🔹 Rules
• Costumes must be decent, safe, and school-appropriate.
• Vulgar, offensive, or unrelated portrayals will result in disqualification.

🔹 Penalty
• Sections with no contestant will be fined 300 pesos.
• The adviser will be held liable for the fine.

🏆 Winning
• The contestant with the highest total score will be awarded the title of Math Cosplay Champion!

In celebration of the International Day of Mathematics 2026 with the theme “Mathematics and Hope,” the Mathematics Club of Mainit National High School proudly presents the 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶!

🔹 Participants
• There are 15 selected Grade 7 students.

🔹 Contest Format
• Participants will be called one by one to write the digits of pi.
• The first participant will start with 3.14 and must add the next digit after 4.
• If the participant writes the correct next digit, the next participant continues by writing the following digit.
• If a participant fails to write the correct next digit, they are eliminated from the contest.

🔹 Rules
• No coaching or prompting from other participants is allowed.
• Any form of interruption will result in disqualification.

🔹 Scoring
• The contest follows a last-man-standing format.
• Participants are eliminated each time a wrong digit is written.
• The last contestant standing will be declared the first-ever Digits of Pi Champion! 🏆

🔹 Participants
• Open to all interested students (individual entries only).

🔹 Requirements
• Posters must reflect the theme “Mathematics and Hope.”
• Slogans should be original, concise, and relevant to the theme.
• Participants must bring their own materials (1/4 illustration board, coloring materials, etc.).
• Posters must be completed within 3 hours during the contest.

🔹 Guidelines
• Slogans must be clearly written on the poster.
• Only manually created designs are allowed; pre-made or digital designs are not permitted.
• Entries must be original work of the participant.
• Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
• Submit your work to the facilitators at the end of the time limit.

🏆 Winning
The poster-slogan entry that best reflects the theme, creativity, and visual impact will be declared the Poster-Slogan Making Champion!

In celebration of the International Day of Mathematics 2026 with the theme “Mathematics and Hope,” the Mathematics Club of Mainit National High School proudly presents the 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞!

Before the competition begins, please read and understand the following rules and mechanics:

🔹 Participants
• There will be 5 groups, each composed of one representative from every grade level (Grade 7 to Grade 12).
• Each group will work together to answer the questions.

🔹 Rules
• Only the official group members are allowed to participate.
• No outside help is permitted.

🔹 Contest Format
The contest will consist of three rounds:
• Easy Round – 30 seconds per question
• Average Round – 1 minute per question
• Difficult Round – 2 minutes per question

🔹 Mechanics
• Questions will be flashed on the TV screen for all groups to see.
• Each group will be provided with a 1/8 illustration board and a marker to write their final answer.
• Once the allotted time is over, all groups must raise their boards simultaneously.
• Only the answer written on the board will be considered final.
• No erasures or overwriting are allowed once time is called.

🔹 Scoring System
Points will be awarded based on the difficulty of each round:
• Easy Round – 1 point for each correct answer
• Average Round – 3 points for each correct answer
• Difficult Round – 5 points for each correct answer

🏆 Winning
In case of a tie, a tie-breaker question will be given to determine the winner.

The group with the highest total score after all rounds will be declared the Math Quiz Bee Champion.

Before the competition begins, please read and understand the following instructions and mechanics:

🔹 Group Formation
• All interested teachers will be divided into groups.
• Each member will be assigned a number (1–9) or a mathematical operation (+, −, ×, ÷).

🔹 The Challenge
• The facilitator will announce a target answer.
• Each group must arrange their members to form a valid mathematical equation that results in the given target answer.

🔹 Rules
• Each number and operation can only be used once per equation (no repetition allowed).
• Equations must be mathematically correct and must only use the assigned numbers and operations.
• Groups must clearly show the equation by lining up in the proper order.
• Once a group is ready, they must present their equation to the facilitator for checking.

🔹 Scoring
• The first group to correctly form the equation earns the point.
• If multiple groups present correct answers at the same time, all will earn points.
• The game continues with new target answers for each round.

🏆 Winning
The group with the highest total points after all rounds will be declared the first-ever Math Formation Challenge Champion!

Today, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟒 (3.14), we celebrate the beauty and importance of mathematics around the world. From solving problems in class to discovering patterns in everyday life, math helps us understand the world in amazing ways.

The Mathematics Club of Mainit National High School joins the global celebration of 𝐏𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐲 and the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬. Let this day remind us that mathematics is not only about numbers but also about curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
