Mahaplag National High School proudly celebrates another significant milestone as we successfully passed the Monitoring and Validation of the Strengthened Senior High School (SSHS) Program with a Perfect Score!

This achievement is a testament to the power of teamwork, dedication, and our shared commitment to excellence. It reflects the collective efforts of every member of the Mahaplag NHS family who worked tirelessly to ensure that our Strengthened SHS Program continues to provide quality, relevant, and responsive education to our learners.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School Head, Teddy Niel P. Abayan for his unwavering support, inspiring leadership and for continually uplifting the spirit of the entire school community.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to our SHS Coordinator, Jonary R. Do you have a passion for performing, creating, writing, dancing, singing, acting, or expressing yourself through the arts? The Special Program in the Arts (SPA) of Mahaplag National High School is officially opening its doors for aspiring SPA learners for S.Y. 2026–2027!

📌 SCREENING & AUDITION PERIOD
🗓 April 27 – June 5, 2026
🕗 Morning Session: 8:00–11:30 A.M.
🕐 Afternoon Session: 1:15–4:00 P.M.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:
✔️ Accomplished Enrollment Form
✔️ Numeracy Test and PHIL-IRI (Filipino & English)
✔️ PSA/Certificate of Live Birth (Photocopy)
✔️ School Form 9 (Report Card)
✔️ Good Moral Certificate
✔️ 40-Item Written Examination
✏️ Applicants are advised to bring paper and pen.

🎨 SPECIALIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

💃 Dance-Arts
Present any dance genre that best showcases your talent and performance skills.

🖌 Visual-Arts
Bring sample works such as drawings, paintings, sketches, and other artworks.
For the on-the-spot activity, bring available art materials like pencils, brushes, and sketch pads.

📸 Media-Arts
Present photographs or edited videos personally created by the learner.
