Celebrating Culture and Unity at the 2024 IPED Division Panaghiusa Festival!

Over the course of 3- exciting days , we have witnessed the remarkable talents, skills, and dedication of our participants in the 2024 IPED Division Panaghiusa Festival at Libertad Elementary School & Libertad National HS. This year’s competition has been an incredible showcase of tradition, teamwork, and cultural pride through a variety of games and activities that emphasize our rich heritage.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants for your unwavering effort and passion! Your performances in the beads making, sput totho, and karang relay categories have truly shone and brought the spirit of unity to life. You have embodied the essence of the Panaghiusa Festival by showing that, together, we can preserve and celebrate the cultural traditions that define our communities.

Moreover,"Grateful for our amazing parents who entrusted us with their children for this special event, and heartfelt thanks to our dedicated school head sir Cinly Genella for making these experiences possible!"

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐀 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

The Division of Davao del Sur through the Youth Formation Unit of the School Governance and Operation successfully conducted this year's presidents camp at Bansalan Central Elementary School dated October 18-19, 2024.

This 2-day activity participated by the presidents of SSLG, BKD, and YES-O to wit; 𝐂𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚 with their Learner Government Adviser Ma'am 𝐋𝐲𝐳𝐚 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬.

This activity provide students with enough knowledge on Parliamentary Procedures and awareness on CTG Youth Infiltration and Recruitment. Aside from the lively discussion, they also enjoyed engaging activities and competitions all throughout the event.

Last September 26, 2024, at Maibo National High School, our principal, Sir Cinly M. Genella, led a comprehensive orientation on the MATATAG Curriculum Policy, designed to strengthen the quality of education. The presentation emphasized the key elements of the MATATAG initiative, including curriculum revisions aimed at enhancing students' learning outcomes and addressing the current gaps in the education system. A significant part of this session is the unpacking of learning competencies, which seeks to clearly define the essential skills and knowledge that students must acquire at each stage of their education.

"Yesterday’s Science Month celebration was filled with excitement as students actively participated in a variety of activities. The day kicked off with a successful tree planting activity, by working together as a community to contribute to environmental sustainability. After that a challenging "quiz bee", where students showcased their knowledge across different fields of science. Meanwhile, a "slogan-making contest", where creativity took center stage as participants crafted powerful messages emphasizing environmental conservation and sustainability.

One of the highlights of the day was the "pageant", where contestants not only displayed their talents and confidence but also advocated for the importance of recycling and reusing materials. Each participant wore outfits made from recycled materials, spreading awareness about waste reduction and the role we all play in protecting the environment. The event truly embodied the spirit of innovation and sustainability, making it an unforgettable celebration of science and environmental responsibility."
