📢 1st General Assembly Meeting and Homeroom Meeting

Mahongkog High School successfully conducted its 1st General Assembly Meeting and Homeroom Meeting, bringing together parents, guardians, teachers, and school leaders in a shared commitment to the success and well-being of every learner.

The activity served as an avenue to discuss school programs, policies, and plans for the school year while strengthening the partnership between the school and families. Through the homeroom meetings, parents were given the opportunity to connect with advisers, gain updates on their children's new curriculum, and collaborate in fostering a supportive learning environment.

A significant part of the activity was the election of Homeroom Officers and new set of PTA Officers, whose leadership and dedication will help strengthen the collaboration between the school and parents in implementing programs and activities that benefit all learners.

We sincerely thank all parents and guardians for their active participation and unwavering support. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials headed by Barangay Captain Procopio Salud Jr. and Kagawad Norma G. Cuering (Committee of Education) for their continued support and commitment to the educational development of our learners.

Together, we continue to build a strong, united, and learner-centered community dedicated to empowering students and shaping a brighter future. Let us continue fostering a strong partnership among the school, families, and community in empowering learners and building a brighter future for all.

Upon the recommendation of Brgy. Captain Procopio Salud Jr. of Barangay Mahongkog and under the authority of Municipal Mayor Jay Laurence Gonzaga, classes are hereby suspended on June 8, 2026, due to the earthquake experienced in the area.

This suspension is implemented to ensure the safety and welfare of all students, teachers, and school personnel. Everyone is advised to remain vigilant and follow all safety advisories issued by the local authorities.
