💚✨ GETTING TO KNOW YOU AND ME (GAYM) ORIENTATION 2026 ✨💚

Building stronger families while preparing young minds for adulthood!

On September 16, 2026, Mahongkog High School hosted the Getting to Know You and Me (GAYM) Orientation, a provincial-level activity that brought together parents and their children for a meaningful day of learning, understanding, and connection.

The activity aimed to strengthen the relationship between parents and their sons and daughters by encouraging open communication, trust, understanding, and healthy family relationships. 💞

It also provided learners with an opportunity to better understand the meaning and responsibilities of adulthood. Through meaningful discussions and activities, students were encouraged to recognize the importance of making responsible decisions, developing self-awareness, and preparing themselves for the challenges and responsibilities that come with growing up. 🌱✨

More than an orientation, GAYM served as a reminder that parents play an important role in guiding their children as they journey toward adulthood, while children are encouraged to communicate, listen, and value the guidance and support of their families.

Together, let us continue to build stronger parent-child relationships, healthier families, and responsible young individuals ready to face the future. 💙

📚 2ND GENERAL PTA ASSEMBLY MEETING | SEPTEMBER 10, 2026 🤝

Mahongkog High School successfully conducted its 2nd General Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Assembly Meeting on September 10, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and school stakeholders in a meaningful gathering focused on strengthening collaboration and supporting the welfare and development of our learners.

The assembly served as an avenue for sharing important updates, discussing school matters, addressing concerns, and fostering stronger partnerships between the school and the community.

Together, we continue to build a supportive and collaborative learning environment where every learner is empowered to grow, learn, and succeed.

ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS AND PENALTIES
For Using Portable Electronic Devices During Instructional Hours
1st Offense:
a. Temporary confiscation of the portable electronic device. The device will be returned at the end of the subject period (designated time).
b. Documentation using the Confiscation Slip (see Annex J).
2nd Offense:
a. Temporary confiscation of the portable electronic device. The device will be returned at the end of class hours (within the school day).
b. Documentation using the Confiscation Slip (see Annex J).
c. Parental notice through formal communication to inform the parent/guardian.
3rd and Succeeding Offense:
a. Confiscation of the device. The device will be deposited at the Office of the School Head/Administrator.
b. Documentation using: Confiscation Slip (Annex J) and Call Slip (Annex K).
c. The device will be returned only when claimed by the parent/guardian.
d. Imposition of proper disciplinary action.

🏆🔥 MUNICIPAL MEET 2026 | SPORTS UPDATE 🔥🏆

The Mahongkog High School athletes proudly represented the school in the Municipal Meet 2026, which started at 8:00 AM. The competitions were held at different venues, with Girls’ Table Tennis Singles taking place at Tagbac Elementary School, while Girls’ Badminton Singles B was held at Magpet National High School.

📢 DRESS CODE REMINDER | MAHONGKOG HIGH SCHOOL

A respectful appearance reflects discipline, responsibility, and pride in being a Mahongkog High School student. To maintain a safe, inclusive, and learning-focused environment, all students are reminded to follow the school's prescribed dress code while inside the campus.

Clothing such as spaghetti straps, tube tops, tank tops, sleeveless or revealing tops, very short shorts, low-waist or ripped jeans, mini skirts, sleepwear, slippers, Crocs, and wearing caps or hats inside the school premises are not allowed.

Let us show respect for ourselves, our classmates, and our school by dressing appropriately every school day.

The Maxim invites all interested students to participate in the Reorganization of Campus Journalism Members and the Screening of New Members.

This activity is exclusively open to Mahongkog High School students who are eager to develop their skills in journalism and contribute to the school's official campus publication. Students with an interest in writing, editing, photojournalism, broadcasting, editorial cartooning, and layout and design are highly encouraged to attend.
