What started as a simple story of perseverance has now become an award-winning documentary at the ARAL Program Video Documentary Fest. This recognition is more than just a victory,it is a reminder that even when the road is difficult, education continues to move forward.

Honorio’s journey reflects the reality of many learners who face challenges every day. In their barangay, their bridge is often broken, forcing students to take longer and harder paths just to reach school. For many learners from Atingay, the journey is even more dangerous,crossing the river every day, risking their safety just to attend class.

These are the silent struggles that many children endure, not because they have to, but because they refuse to give up on their dreams.

Yet through determination, support, and the power of the ARAL Program,Honorio’s story proves that dreams remain possible when learning never stops.His journey represents not only his own perseverance, but also the courage of many students who continue to study despite the dangers and hardships they face every single day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the School’s Division of Laguna DepEd Tayo Laguna for recognizing this meaningful story and giving it a platform to inspire others.
