Monday Flag Raising Ceremony

Magallanes National High School commenced the week with its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, bringing together the school community in a solemn expression of patriotism, unity, and commitment to duty.

The ceremony was highlighted by the Senior Scouts who proudly led the raising of the Philippine flag. The school likewise recognizes the presence and support of the Magallanes MPS Police Officers, LGU Mayor’s Action Network, Barangay Tanods of Barangay Sto. Niño, and our School Security Guard, whose continued commitment helps ensure the safety, security, and orderliness of the school community.

The Magallanes National High School faculty and staff, through the leadership of School Principal II, Glenn Mark Dela Sala , salute and deeply appreciate your commitment and continued support in keeping our school a safe and orderly place for learning.

May this new week inspire everyone to uphold excellence, responsibility, and dedication in the pursuit of quality education and service.

READY. ALERT. SAFE

Magallanes National High School successfully conducted a Safety Drill this morning, designed to orient learners and personnel on the proper response in the event of a possible security threat.

The activity began with a pre-conference at the Principal’s Office, followed by the simulation. Learners were oriented on what to do when the bell rings rapidly, emphasizing calm, orderly, and appropriate responses. The simulation concluded at the Covered Court, where observations and areas for improvement were discussed.

The activity was made possible through the presence and support of the PNP Magallanes MPS, led by PEMS Rizalde Ongcada, together with PMSg Michael Jamison, PMSg Maridel Casis, and PMSg Ronald Morada; BFP personnel, including SF02 Edward Paduganan and F01 Ricster Buhion; District Supervisor Ma’am Gina S. Bagayas; District DRRM Coordinator Sir Guiller Lague; and Sir Egie Boy Cosicol of FUAMI.

Special recognition goes to Ma’am Rose Grace Auguis, School DRRM Coordinator, for leading the conduct of the drill, with the support of Sir Glenn Mark V. Dela Sala, School Principal II.

Through this activity, learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel gained valuable knowledge on how to respond appropriately should such an incident occur.

May we never have to face such an incident, but may we always be prepared. Let us stay vigilant, keep our learners safe, and continue guiding them toward the right path.
