Project WORDS TO LIVE BY: Verse of the Week
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Project WORDS TO LIVE BY: Verse of the Week
Blessed afternoon, Benditañians!
It’s time to read!😉
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
ALAM N’YO BA?
Before Joshua 1:9 became such a familiar and famous verse—and actually, this is my life verse🫶—Joshua was facing a huge responsibility.
After Moses died, God called Joshua to lead the Israelites, God’s people. Imagine being given the responsibility of leading an entire nation after someone like Moses. It definitely wasn’t an easy task.
In Joshua 1:8, God reminded Joshua to meditate on His Word and to follow it. Then, in verse 9, God reminded Joshua again:
“Be strong and courageous.”
Why did God need to remind Joshua of this?
Because leading people is not easy. People have different mindsets, attitudes, struggles, and opinions. And Joshua was about to face challenges he had never faced before.
When we hear the words “be strong and courageous,” sometimes we might think, “Does that mean God is going to make me suffer? 🧐”
But being strong and courageous doesn’t mean that the journey will be easy.
God never promised Joshua an easy journey. What He promised was His presence.
He said:
“For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
And I think that is what makes this verse so powerful.
And just like Joshua, we can hold on to the same promise
There will be seasons in our lives when we don’t know what’s coming next. We may feel afraid, doubtful, or even unprepared. We may not know what challenges, opportunities, or problems we are going to face.
But even when we don’t know what is ahead, we can know Who is going with us.
So whatever season you are in right now, remember:
Be strong. Be courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.
Not because everything will be easy, but because God is with you wherever you go. 🤍

Stay safe and dry, Benditañians! Mag-aral ng mabuti!

FIRST BLUE FRIDAY DONE! 💙🤍
Thank you to every student, teacher, and staff member who wore blue today.
Remember, wearing blue on Fridays this August is just how we show it, living with respect and standing up against bullying is what we do every single day.
Tayo'y mabuti, pass tayo sa bully ~
Hope you all have a great weekend, and see you in blue next week, Benditañians! 💙🤍

But Psalm 46:1 serves as a strong reminder that we don't have to face any storm alone. God is our steady refuge and immediate source of strength, lagi Siya nating kasama at pwedeng lapitan, saan man tayo naroroon. He'ss always present, ready to comfort and sustain us through every storm at laging taga remind na huwag tayong matakot dahil nariyan siya palagi.
Habang nag-iingat ang lahat sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan, take time to pause, read, and reflect on this verse. Let it bring peace to your heart today.
