IN PHOTOS | DGA Nutrition Month Celebration 2026

Last Friday, July 31, 2026, the De Guia Academy community successfully celebrated Nutrition Month with the theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan Ating Pangalagaan."

Through a variety of meaningful and engaging activities, our students, teachers, and staff highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while being responsible stewards of the environment. The celebration emphasized that proper nutrition and environmental care go hand in hand in building a healthier, greener, and more sustainable future.

May the lessons and experiences gained from this celebration inspire us to make healthy choices and care for our environment every day—not only during Nutrition Month but throughout the year.

IN PHOTOS | ESC and SHS Voucher Program Orientation for Parents and Guardians

Last July 18, 2026, De Guia Academy successfully conducted the Educational Service Contracting (ESC) and Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program Orientation for parents and guardians.

The orientation provided a comprehensive discussion of the ESC and SHS Voucher Programs, covering their objectives, benefits, eligibility requirements, policies, and the roles and responsibilities of both the school and participating beneficiaries. It also ensured that parents and guardians were well-informed about the proper implementation of these government-assisted educational programs, reinforcing the importance of their partnership with the school in supporting their children's education.

De Guia Academy extends its sincere appreciation to all parents and guardians who attended the orientation and actively participated in the discussion. Your continued trust, cooperation, and commitment play a vital role in the successful implementation of these programs and in the holistic development of our learners.

PUBLIC ADVISORY | In accordance with the announcement of Mayor Janessa de Ramayo, face-to-face classes on Friday, July 10, 2026, are suspended due to the continuous heavy rains expected from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) intensified by Typhoon Inday.

To ensure the continuity of learning, Blended Learning Activities will be provided by the subject teachers through the school's available learning platforms and learning materials for students to accomplish at home.

As one school community, we encourage everyone to offer the Prayer for Deliverance from Calamities, asking God to protect all those affected by Typhoon Inday and to keep our families and communities safe during this time.

Designed to strengthen friendships and build trust between students from different year levels, the activity encouraged participants to step out of their comfort zones, work as one community, and create lasting connections that will help them throughout the school year.

Through this activity, students were given the opportunity to exercise leadership, responsibility, and active participation in choosing classmates who will represent and serve their respective sections throughout the school year.

IN PHOTOS: Last Friday (June 26, 2026), the De Guians gathered for a meaningful Defreezing Activity, a time to reconnect, build stronger relationships, and prepare for the journey ahead as one school community.

Inspired by Philippians 2:2, the activity reminded everyone of the importance of unity, love, and working together with one spirit and purpose. Through engaging games, team-building activities, and shared moments of laughter, De Guians experienced the joy of belonging to a community that values cooperation, friendship, and faith.

As we move forward into another school year, may we continue to be like-minded, support one another, and strive toward our common goal of learning, growing, and serving together.
