Hello everyone!
โ
โLook at what Iโm wearing right now, do you already have an idea what my Health and Wellness Journal is going to be about?
โ
โYes, you guessed it! Today, Iโm going to share with you my journey as a Taekwondo athleteโthe challenges I faced, the people I met, the memories I made, and the unexpected experiences that became a big part of my life.
โ
โโSo, letโs begin my journey.โ
โ
โNow, let me introduce you to the team that has been a big part of my journey as an athlete.
โ
โOur team is called Averheartโs Elite. It is more than just a teamโit is a group of people who support, motivate, and push each other to become better athletes.
โ
โThe person who built and created our team is our Head Master, Regional 3 Vice Chairman Wesly Jr. Dolor Averheart. Through his leadership and dedication, Averheartโs Elite was formed and continues to grow.
โ
โIโm proud to be part of this team, and Iโm excited to share more about our journey together.
โNext, let me introduce our amazing coach, Coach Charisse E. Viray.
โ
โ Coach Charisse has become more than just our coach. Through her guidance, care, and support, she became our second motherโsomeone who teaches us, looks after us, and pushes us to become better, both in Taekwondo and in life.
โ
โWe are truly proud and grateful to have her as our coach!
โ
โMy journey in Taekwondo is not only about training, competitions, and achievements. It is also about the people I met along the way.
โ
โThrough Taekwondo, I met my girlfriend, and unexpectedly, she became my number one supporter in every aspect of my life. She has been there to encourage me, especially during difficult moments, and Iโm grateful that Taekwondo brought us together.
โ
โI also met some of my closest friends through this journey. We trained together, laughed together, struggled together, and made so many memories. Eventually, we all graduated, and we had to go our separate ways. Even though we parted ways, the memories we made will always stay with us.
โ
โThese three are my brothers, and our coach gave us the nickname โThe Minions.โ We are Bob, Stuart, and Kevin. We may look funny together, but we went through a lot as a team.
โ
โ
โThroughout our training, we also experienced injuries, bruises, and bumps along the way. We went through some tough moments together.
โ
โEven when training was difficult, we kept pushing forward and supporting each other. As athletes, we learned that challenges and setbacks are part of the journey.
โ
โAnd as we always say:
โ
"No pain, No gain"
โ
โNext, Iโll show you some pictures of me during my Taekwondo games.
โ
โThese moments show me giving my best inside the competition area. Every match was a chance to test my skills, confidence, and discipline. Some games were challenging, while others became memorable experiences that I will never forget.
โ
โFor me, competing isnโt only about winning. Itโs about learning from every match, improving myself, and representing my team with pride.
โ
โNext, Iโll show you some pictures from my belt promotions. This part of my journey is very special to me because I started as a white belt and eventually advanced to High Yellow Belt.
โ
โthey saw something in me and believed that I had the potential to improve and go further. Their trust and encouragement motivated me to keep training, work harder, and prove that their belief in me was worth it.
โ
โBeing part of Taekwondo also gave me the opportunity to *travel to different places* whenever we watched tournaments or belt promotions. Every trip became another experience, whether it was competing, training, meeting new people, or simply making memories with my teammates.
โ
โLooking back, every belt promotion and every journey reminds me of how far Iโve comeโand how much more I still have to learn.
โ
โAnd that brings me to the end of my Taekwondo journey. Taekwondo has given me more than just medals and achievementsโit gave me lessons, friendships, memories, and experiences that I will always treasure.
โ
โi am Hanz Michael Benson of 11-Diamond (Stem) and this is my Health And Wellness Journey, thank you for staying with and for watching this video.
Thank you, and see you next time!!
