We, TEAM GB, are grateful for everyone's support for our ICT project and our anti-illegal drug advocacy titled "YOU USE YOU LOSE." We were also grateful to win the EMTECH BEST PICTURE 2022 and BEST PERFORMER awards as a result of the team's hard work among all the other teams.

We are truly grateful for your unending support from the beginning until now. However, we would like to inform you that our page will cease updating and posting but will have the opportunity to resume.

There are several ways on how to prevent substance abuse. For instance, Understand how addiction happens, Know your risk factor, Steer clear of peer pressure, Live a balanced life, and Learn to cope.

As noted previously, early use of drugs increases a person's chances of becoming addicted. Remember, drugs change the brain—and this can lead to addiction and other serious problems. So, preventing early use of drugs or alcohol may go a long way in reducing these risks.

FACTS ABOUT DRUGS!

1.25 million years of life have been lost to overdoses.

We count our lives in years. So, when researchers at The Ohio State University began calculating the years of life lost to unintentional drug overdoses in youth, teens, and young adults ages 10 to 24, the sum total was nothing short of staggering: 1.25 million years of life completely lost. And that number only represents four years of data, according to a report published in JAMA Pediatrics.

DO NOT SUBDUCE YOURSELF‼️

This anti-drug campaign poster is intended to increase awareness of illicit drug usage and sales among youth and other people. One of the issues that our society is currently dealing with is drug abuse. Some people use drugs to escape from their problems and pain, but they are unaware that these substances are catalysts for their physical, mental, and emotional well-being to deteriorate.

Therefore, keep drugs at a distance in order to avoid having them interfere with your goals and daily activities.

Drug use is all around us - but this fact,of course,does not make it any less devastating. As a parent,a sibling,or friend,you may be struggling with many questions about your loved one's drug problem.Why are they using drugs?Why are they choosing to use drugs,even though it's hurting so many people?

With all the information we have about drugs and their dangers today,we might think it's an easy choice to stop using.Drugs use can cause broken relationships,violence,arrest,mental health disorders, increase respiratory failure,angry outburst,feeling paranoid or irritable and problem with thinking,memory,concentration,and coordination,and tragic health effects like overdose.So why would someone try drugs at all?

And these are just some of the used illegal drugs that have bad effects on those around them.So while it's early,stop using them so you don't regret the wrong decision made.

Using illegal drugs to escape reality is not right. It may give you temporary happiness but after that wears off you are back to an even deeper sadness. Because of that, you will seek more to fill the ever growing hole. You cannot escape it as you seek more in order to keep your body satisfied. As you consume more you will feel the consequences of your actions. Your mental health will deteriorate, paranoia sets in. You will slowly drift away from the people around you. When you don't have any money to spend on your addiction you sacrifice everything around you. Once everything is gone and can't take drugs anymore, you will suffer because your body seeks it. You will be in pain, writhing in agony, shivering and alone.

So, instead of doing drugs to make everything feel better, seek help. go to professionals like psychiatrists.

We only live once so let's not waste our life on useless things like drugs, let's not send the little pleasure we feel if the exchange is our life.

Let's do our best to keep them out of harm's way, that's what they said "A help can save a life from risk, don't let them get into the wrong path." Because our little help has a big impact on them.

Greetings everyone! We are thrilled to present to you our "YOU USE YOU LOSE" project!

The alarming rate of drug consumption has always been a problem and has detrimental effects on the society. Here, we will help in the fight against illegal drug abuse through the use of articles, posters, infographics and videos. Educating people is a must to solve this problem because we believe information is the key to any battle.

We would like to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for your constant and unwavering support. We hope that we will remain united 'till the end of this meaningful journey. Please stay tuned for our anticipated contents that will be uploaded in the future.
