ARAL SUMMER PROGRAM 2026 CULMINATING ACTIVITY

The ARAL Summer Program 2026 concluded with a meaningful culminating activity that highlighted the achievements and learning gains of participating learners.

The program opened with the Invocation, National Anthem, and Ako’y Pinoy audio-visual presentations. The welcome remarks of School Principal Ma’am Rame R. Bu-ucan were delivered by ARAL Coordinator Ma’am Krisha Mae G. Mateo, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in providing meaningful learning opportunities for learners.

In the presentation of program accomplishments and learning gains, Ma’am Mateo shared the highlights of the program implementation, noting the progress observed among learners in literacy and numeracy. She also expressed appreciation to the tutors, parents, and stakeholders for their continuous support and active involvement throughout the program.

An inspirational message was delivered by Hon. Prince Ian Bernie B. Corpuz, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, followed by a message of appreciation from SPTA Treasurer Mrs. Eufemia Bancipra, who acknowledged the collective effort that contributed to the success of the program.

The awarding of certificates to ARAL learners and tutors marked the formal recognition of their completion of the program and their active participation in all learning activities conducted.

In the closing remarks, Ma’am Krisha Mae G. Mateo extended gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the ARAL Summer Program 2026. Cofcaville Integrated School successfully conducted the launching of the ARAL Summer Program 2026, an initiative of the Department of Education aimed at strengthening the literacy and numeracy skills of learners, anchored on the theme ARAL: A Step Forward, A Brighter Future!” and guided by its core goal to help learners Recover, Learn, and Succeed.

Through ARAL, the program aims to improve learners’ foundational skills in Reading and Mathematics, accelerate learning recovery to help learners catch up, build confidence and motivation in learning, and prepare learners to succeed in their grade level and beyond.

The program formally opened with an audio-visual presentation of the invocation, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Ako’y Pinoy, setting a meaningful and patriotic tone for the activity. The opening program was highlighted by the welcome remarks of School Head, Ma’am Rame R. Bu-ucan, who emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among the school, parents, and the community in supporting learners’ academic growth. She also underscored the significance of programs like the ARAL Summer Program in addressing learning gaps and providing meaningful learning opportunities.

The presentation of the ARAL Summer Program was led by ARAL Coordinator, Ma’am Krisha Mae G. Mateo. She provided an overview of the program, highlighting its alignment with DepEd Memorandum No. 064, s. 2025, which focuses on addressing learning gaps through structured intervention programs. She also discussed the objectives of the program and introduced the ARAL tutors according to their assigned key stages, recognizing their important role in guiding and supporting the learners.

An inspirational message was delivered by SPTA Secretary Mrs. Eufemia A. Bancipra, who represented the stakeholders present during the program. In her message, she highlighted the importance of unity among the school, parents, and the community in supporting learners’ development and ensuring the success of the ARAL Summer Program.

The orientation proper followed, where the program schedule, activities, as well as the attendance and monitoring system were clearly discussed to ensure smooth implementation and active participation of learners.

One of the highlights of the event was the Pledge of Commitment, where learners, parents, and teachers expressed their support by signing, symbolizing their dedication to the success of the program.

The closing remarks were delivered by Ma’am Krisha Mae G. Mateo, who expressed gratitude to all stakeholders and emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving the goals of the program.

The activity concluded with a photo opportunity, marking the successful beginning of a meaningful and collaborative initiative aimed at improving learners’ academic performance because in ARAL, every learner, every day, takes a step forward.

The Cofcaville Integrated School concluded its Closing Exercises for School Year 2025–2026 with a memorable Graduation and Moving-Up Ceremony on March 31, 2026, honoring learners who have successfully completed their academic levels and are advancing to the next stage of their education.

The ceremony opened with a processional featuring candidates for completion accompanied by their parents, faculty and staff, barangay officials, SPTA officers, the guest speaker and Municipal SK Federated President, school heads of Cofcaville IS, Maddela North CS-ISC, and Divisoria Sur IS, as well as the Education Supervisor in LRMDS and Public Schools District Supervisor.

Cassandra A. Amto, a kindergarten completion candidate, delivered the greeting, representing her batch with pride and gratitude.

The formal presentation of candidates for completion and graduation was led by the School Head, Dr. Rame R. Bu‑ucan, followed by certification from the Public Schools District Supervisor of Maddela I District, Dr. Liwliwa B. Bareng. The acceptance and confirmation of graduates was officiated on behalf of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Madelyn L. Macalling, CESO V by the Education Program Supervisor in LRMDS, Dr. Felimendo M. Felipe.

An inspiring message from the Department of Education Secretary, Senator Sonny Angara, was presented through an audio-visual presentation, encouraging learners to continue their pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

Certificates and diplomas were distributed, and medals and awards were presented to deserving graduates and completers in recognition of their academic achievements.

Franzelle Lianna F. Maduro, an elementary graduate with honors, delivered the graduation speech, inspiring her peers with reflections on their journey and aspirations for the future.

The guest speaker, Ms. Sheryl A. Root, was introduced by Ma'am Siena E. Bueno and delivered a motivational address emphasizing resilience, purpose, and lifelong learning.

The batch history was narrated by Ashton Breyden F. Llanto (with honors, elementary graduate) and Erika S. Pedronan (with honors, JHS completer), celebrating the collective milestones of the graduating class.

The ceremony continued with the Pledge of Loyalty led by Trisha B. Guerrero, a JHS completer with high honors, affirming commitment to academic integrity and civic responsibility.

Graduates and completers then performed the Graduation and Moving-Up Song, symbolizing unity and accomplishment, before the program concluded with a recessional.

The event was a heartfelt tribute to the learners’ hard work, the support of families and educators, and the shared commitment to educational success.
