Career advocates conducted a room-to-room Career Symposium and Workshop for junior and senior high school learners, March 10 and 11.

The symposium is part of the week-long career-awareness week of the school, which aims to enhance their awareness of learners to various career opportunities.

During the symposium, learners attended informative lectures focused on career awareness, goal setting, and decision-making.

Moreover, an interactive workshop was conducted to guide learners in reflecting on their personal interests, strengths, and possible career paths.

The workshop provided students with valuable insights to help them make informed decisions about their future careers.

The two-day symposium was facilitated by Sir Alaeddin Amer Emperador and Ma'am Michelle Ann Ylanan, the school's career advocates, and assisted by learners' advisers and subject teachers.

Divisoria Sur Integrated School successfully conducted Project HAKBANG (Honing Aspirations and Knowledge through Building Awareness for Navigating Goals), a week-long career-awareness effort for learners.

This year's theme, “My Future, My Choice: I am a career-conscious DIVSIAN learner!” aims to strengthen learners' vision and awareness for their future goals and careers.

The first part of the activity was a career attire day for elementary pupils held on March 9, 2026, at the school's gymnasium.

The program begins with the presentation of Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners, followed by an inspirational message delivered by Alaeddin Amer Emperador, one of the career advocates.

Meanwhile, Grade 4 to Grade 6 students also presented their various career attire and shared simple messages about their dream professions in the future.

One pupil per class received the Best in Career Attire award, judged by Ma’am Mary Grace Fernandez, Ma’am Laila Blanza Bonilla Galapon, and Sir Al Jubail Baynosa.

The said project is under the supervision of the school's career guidance advocates, Sir Alaeddin Amer Emperador and Ma'am Michelle Alonzo.

Project BUKLOD (Bridging Unified partnerships for Knowledge empowerment, Leadership development, Organized and responsible youth, and the Development of a safe and resilient community) successfully commenced with the first-ever Leadership Training and Behavioral Camp, March 6-7.

Anchored on the theme “Lead with Purpose, Serve with Heart: Shaping Leaders through Integrity, Commitment, and Compassion,” the activity gathered 87 student-leaders from various organizations and class officers to strengthen unity, responsibility, and leadership skills.

The camp featured informative sessions from various speakers who shared their expertise and insights.

Nolbert Juan discussed First Aid and Fire Safety, emphasizing preparedness during emergencies.

Roxanne Grace D. Valdez delivered an inspiring talk on Leadership, encouraging students to lead with integrity and purpose.

Jamina Ann Tolentino highlighted the importance of Environmental Awareness and the role of youth in protecting the environment.

Meanwhile, representatives from Philippine National Police in Maddela discussed Drugs, Vices, and Terrorism, promoting awareness and prevention among the youth.

Lastly, Xylene C. Gacusana shared valuable insights about Mental Health, reminding students of the importance of emotional well-being and self-care.

Through these meaningful discussions, Project BUKLOD continues to strengthen unity among student organizations while equipping participants with the knowledge and values needed to become responsible and compassionate leaders.

The activity also highlights the school’s commitment to developing empowered youth who can contribute to building a safe, resilient, and progressive community.

The event continues with Part II in the evening of March 6 and on March 7, 2026, featuring more activities designed to enhance teamwork, discipline, and leadership among the youth.

IDOLS DAY
DIVSIS Recognizes Model Classes for January
The Candor | Xyiane Relle

Grades 1, 9, and 12 (HUMSS) were recognized as model classes in elementary, junior high school, and senior high school departments, respectively.

The classes were under the mentorship of Teacher Rochelle Taipan (Grade 1), Teacher Maribel Hermoso (Grade 9), and Teacher Michelle Alonzo (Grade 12 - HUMSS).

The award is given monthly to recognize classes that meet the set standards of the school.

The evaluation included several criteria such as the condition of school zones, class attendance, proper uniform, student behavior, and the vices collection report monitored by the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKB).

Waste segregation was also checked by the Environmental Solid Waste Management (ESWM) team, along with the evaluation of the PAST Reading Corner and the RDNEB Corner.

Based on the overall results of these criteria, the classes handled by the three advisers were selected as the Model Classes for the month.

The recognition aims to encourage students and advisers to maintain discipline, cleanliness, and active participation in school programs.

The Candor| DIVSIS Recognizes Top Classrooms Reading and RDNEB–RDELC Corners

The awarding of the Best Reading Corner and RDNEB (Region II Development Nurturing Exquisite Behavior) and RDELC (Region II Development Empowering Learners’ Character) Corner was held on Wednesday, January 28, recognizing selected Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School classes.

For the Reading Corner category, the winners were Grade 1 under the advisership of Maam Rochelle Taipan for the elementary level, Grade 8 advised by Maam Hazel Arciaga for the junior high school level, and Grade 12 HUMSS under Maam Michelle Alonzo for the senior high school level.

Each winning class received ₱500 as part of the awarding.

Meanwhile, the winners for the RDNEB and RDELC Corner were Grade 6 with adviser Maam Gloria Salvador for the elementary level, Grade 9 advised by Maam Maribel Hermoso for the junior high school level, and Grade 11 TVL under Sir Joel Orpilla for the senior high school level.

The evaluation of the Reading Corner and the RDNEB and RDELC Corners was completed on Thursday, January 22.

The award was given to recognize the classrooms that complied with the set criteria and demonstrated efforts in maintaining their reading, RDNEB, and RDELC corners.
