CadeliΓ±a Places Top 5 in Filipino Column Writing at RSPC 2026

Emiel Xian J. CadeliΓ±a brought pride and honor to the school after securing a Top 5 finish in Filipino Column Writing during the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2026 held in Tumauini, Isabela from January 28 to 31.

The achievement placed CadeliΓ±a among the region’s most outstanding student journalists, competing against the best columnists from different divisions. The contest tested participants’ ability to express critical ideas, take a clear stand on timely issues, and write with depth and clarity in the Filipino language.

CadeliΓ±a’s success was made possible through the dedicated guidance of Coach Sharlemagne D. Gonzaga, whose commitment and mentorship played a vital role in developing the student’s writing skills and confidence throughout the competition.

The school also extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Roderick Blanza for his continued support and encouragement. Appreciation is likewise given to the school principal, Nancy Agduyeng, whose strong leadership and unwavering support for campus journalism have been instrumental in this achievement.

Further thanks are extended to the school director,Rev. Talgued Andres, for fostering an environment that nurtures excellence, discipline, and holistic student development.

CadeliΓ±a Places 2nd in Column Writing Filipino, Qualifies for RSPC

NEWS β€” Emiel Xian J. CadeliΓ±a secured 2nd place in Column Writing (Filipino) during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held on November 19–21, 2025 At Quirino General High School, Cabarroguis Quirino, earning a coveted spot in the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).

CadeliΓ±a’s win highlighted the strong overall performance of MBSI’s campus journalists, with several students also earning placements in various categories.
Jhana Ruiene Lutrania clinched 4th place in Editorial Writing (English), while Stephanie Kate P. Pineda finished 9th place in Feature Writing (English).

The school likewise recognized the commendable efforts of the following participants:

The achievements of the young journalists were made possible through the unwavering support of the school principal-Mrs. Nancy M. Agduyeng, school director- Rev. Talgued R. Andres, and the entire faculty, who continuously encourage excellence in campus journalism.

The students of MBSI have truly proven that they can excel academically both inside and outside the school.

MBSI Young Journalists Triumph in Municipal Journalympics 2025

Municipality of Maddela, Philippines β€” Young campus journalists from Methodist Beatitudes School Incorporated (MBSI) proudly brought home numerous awards during the Municipal Journalympics 2025, showcasing their exceptional talent in the field of journalism.

Held last November 3-4, 2025 at Maddela Integrated School of Arts and Trades, the Municipal Journalympics gathered student writers from various schools across the municipality to compete in different journalistic categories such as news writing, sports writing, column writing, feature writing, editorial writing, photojournalism, and editorial cartooning.

The MBSI delegation emerged victorious, securing top spots in several categories. Among the outstanding winners were the following:

Buwan ng Wika 2025 ipinagdiwang sa MBSI

Noong ika-29 ng Agosto, matagumpay na ipinagdiwang ng Methodist Beatitudes School, Inc. (MBSI) ang Buwan ng Wika na may temang "Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa." Ang selebrasyon ay isang makulay na pagpapakita ng kahalagahan ng ating wika at kultura sa pagtataguyod ng pagkakaisa sa bansa.

Nagbigay pugay ang mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng malikhaing presentasyon na sumasalamin sa ating mga tradisyon, kasaysayan, at mga katutubong wika. Ang bawat baitang ay naglunsad ng mga pagtatanghal na nagpapakita sa yaman ng sining at kasaysayan ng bansa.

Kabilang sa naging highlight ng selebrasyon ay ang makapanindig-balahibong pagsasabuhay sa iba't ibang pangkat-etnolinggwistiko mula sa hilaga hanggang katimugang bahagi ng bansa - mula Batanes hanggang Jolo. Dito ipinadama ng bawat kalahok ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahal sa wika at kultura sa pagpapalaganap ng tunay na pagkakaisa at pagbubuklod-buklod ng bawat Pilipino.

Isa ring tampok sa selebrasyon ang makapangyarihang mensahe ng pangunahing tagapagsalita na si Gng. Jofelyn P. Baldoza, tagapayo ng ika-5 Baitang sa MBSI. Ayon sa kanya, ang wika ay hindi lamang isang kasangkapan sa komunikasyon, kundi isang tulay na nagdudugtong sa ating lahat at nagsisilbing gabay sa ating pag-unawa sa bawat isa. Binanggit din niya na ang Filipino at ang mga katutubong wika ay nagsisilbing ugat ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan bilang isang bansa.

Ang matagumpay na pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ay bunga ng suporta ng bawat isa mula sa konseho ng Pamunuan ng Paaralan sa pangunguna ni G. Hector S. Caluya, Punong Tagapangasiwa Rev. Talgued R. Andres, Tagapangulong Ispiritwal Rev. Lina V. De Guzman, at paggabay ng Punung-Guro, Gng. Nancy M. Agduyeng. Mahalaga rin ang kontribusyon at pakikiisa at pagsusumikap ng bawat magulang at mga g**o.

Isang paalala rin ito na ang pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ay susi sa tagumpay ng bawat gawain at proyekto ng paaralan.
