MADALAG, AKLAN โ Madalag National High School officially commenced School Year 2026โ2027 today, June 8, 2026, hosting its first flag ceremony on the campus open grounds. Standing in uniform rows under the morning sun, the entire faculty, staff, and student body gathered for the traditional singing of the national anthem to mark the opening of the new academic calendar.
Following the ceremony, School Principal II, Mr. Efren N. Narral, took the stage to deliver his opening address to the crowd of returning learners and incoming freshmen. In a stirring message aimed at motivating the student body, he challenged the learners to embrace the upcoming term as an opportunity for profound intellectual and character transformation. Alongside his words of inspiration, he reminded the students that while education is their fundamental basic right, it is equally their personal responsibility to study diligently and honor that privilege through discipline and consistent effort.
Amplifying the schoolโs commitment to academic advancement, Mr. Narral also proudly introduced the newly graduated faculty members who recently completed their advanced graduate studies. He emphasized that this upgrade in faculty credentials stands as a firm guarantee that higher, quality learning will be directly delivered to the learners this school year.
With the morning briefings completed, students proceeded to their respective classrooms, carrying with them a renewed sense of purpose.
