Last Friday, students had their SBO Night with the Collado Couple, asking about their personal lives, ministries, and receiving valuable advice. They also celebrated first-year student Danna Obejas's birthday. Praises were given to God for the knowledge and guidance from the couple. Please pray for their safe return to Angono this Saturday.

1 Peter 1:8
whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

The gospel hymn "Joy Unspeakable" (often known by its refrain "It is joy unspeakable and full of glory") was written and composed in 1900 by Barney E. Warren, a prolific 20th-century Christian minister and songwriter.

The song mentions about freedom, salvation, hope, and glory. The chorus exuberantly reminds us of the great joy that God has for His people in Christ. When we understand that every good and perfect gift comes from God, especially all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, our souls will most surely be filled with “Joy Unspeakable.”

"Christ our Redeemer,
died on the Cross!
Died for the sinners,
paid all His due.
All who received Him,
need never fear.
Yes, He will pass,
will pass over you!"

The classic Christian hymn "When I See the Blood" was written and composed around 1892 by John G. Foote. It draws deeply from the Old Testament Passover account in Exodus 12:13, applying the imagery of God passing over houses marked with a lamb's blood to salvation through Jesus Christ.

The verses reference God's command to the Israelites in Egypt to paint lamb’s blood on their doorframes so the final plague would pass over them. The lyrics transition this historical rescue into a metaphor for the Christian belief in Jesus as the "Lamb of God," whose sacrifice shields believers from final spiritual judgment. The repeating chorus emphasizes security and redemption:
"When I see the blood, when I see the blood, When I see the blood, I will pass, I will pass over you."
